I just realised that it's already the ides of March. Suspense! With any luck, there'll be more macros made from these protests. Unless there've already been macros, and I just missed them.

Also, even though it wasn't really a meme, I have made a list of my favourite Pokemon from each type. (Which reminds me, I haven't properly done anything on Diamond for a couple of weeks now... I have yet to breed a single half-decent Porygon.)

Normal:
Porygon - Y'know, in that one seizure episode, the flashing lights were Pikachu's fault and not Porygon's. But because of it, neither this guy nor his evolutions will ever be allowed back on the air. And that's what we call ever so slightly sad.
Togekiss - A bit cliche, but he's definitely one of my few D/P favourites and he's adorable, right?
Doduo, Dodrio, Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Spearow, Taillow, Noctowl, Swablu - Various Normal/Flying-types, represent!
Raticate - I had one on my Yellow team, so I'm allowed to be nostalgic.
Clefable - When you can get away with playing one competitively, he's awesome. Actually, Magic Guard alone is awesome, but then add on me being a sucker for most pokes that have insane movepools, and oh I love him. ♥
Meowth - My first ever ship was him and Pikachu, way back during Indigo. I didn't even know what shipping was. Tell me I'm not alone in this?
Kangaskhan - Well, baby Kangaskhan. Still holding out for it to be made its own Baby species. I mean, they could always replace Bibarel if they don't have any more room.
Tauros - Screw the "better" Choice Banders.
Arceus - Just because.

Fire:
Torchic - Eeee ♥♥♥~
Charmander, Cyndaquil, Quilava, Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken - Other Fire starters (...that was actually not intentional) which are adorable or awesome or both. Monkeys not invited.
Houndoom - Not sure why, but I always thought he was cool. And being able to make use of Crunch before Generation IV was fun.
Entei - I feel bad for this guy, because I liked the third Pokemon movie and neither Hoenn nor Sinnoh were particularly kind to him. Plus, he really looks huggable.
Moltres - May be useless, but can Sunny Day + Overheat off 125 SA and you have to love being able to rack up those ridiculous numbers. I'd love Heatran more for this, but Heatran is a bit ugly. :(

Water:
Gyarados, Wingull - On account of being Flying-types, see a little further down.
Suicune, Kyogre - Why not?
Horsea, Seadra, Kingdra - The first two make me go "d'awwww" even though seahorses creep me out in real life. Kingdra just deserves more love on the whole. And a better movepool to compliment its fun typing, dammit.
Feraligatr - Nobody can ever spell it...
Empoleon - I pick Piplup just so I can end up with the freaking giant metal penguin :D
Slowbro, Vaporeon - Both pretty underrated as far as Water-types go. Screw Milotic.
Quagsire, Lanturn - Had them both on my Silver team.
Kabutops - Actually quite badass for a trilobite.

Grass:
Grovyle - I can't spell this one either.
Breloom - Is awesome! ♥ He has more move options than you might expect, and he gets Spore which makes up for a multitude of wrongs. Namely, having crappy speed and getting OHKO'd by a Magikarp. But Spore~!
Celebi - Say what you like about the little bastard, he never freaking dies.

Electric:
Jolteon - I do love my 130 base speed pokes~
Zapdos - Can do anything. Really.
Pichu, Pikachu - |D;; ...Their special hold item is nice? I mean, Pikachu sweeps are completely evil when you're on the receiving end.
Mareep, Ampharos - :3 Ampharos is interesting and Mareep is just fluffy.
Electrike - I'm sure that its cry is identical to one of the Generation I or II cries, but I can't for the life of me figure out which one I mean...
(Lanturn)

Ice:
Articuno - My absolute favourite before GSC. She's just pretty.
Sneasel - Well... my beloved Pokemon Stu has one.

Fighting:
Riolu, Lucario - They remind me of Gaomon. Plus Lucario is a Fighting-type with a more than usable SpA stat and has Aura Sphere to abuse, which is quite cool however you look at it.
Hitmonchan - Had one on my Blue team. I wonder how I managed to complete the game, looking back, since three of his moves were the elemental punches and the fourth was something stupid like Skull Bash.
Hitmontop - Endure + Endeavor + Bullet Punch! Yes, it's a gimmick, it basically sacrifices a tanky Pokemon for a not-always-guaranteed KO and it's an insult to the thing's versatility, but you still have to love it for trying so hard.
Gallade - Actually quite fun. Psycho Cut is a move I love purely for the name. I haven't tried training a Gallade yet, though... I'm guessing it would be hell until he evolved.
Blaziken - Mentioned already, but he is pretty cool-looking, you know? Especially for what is effectively a giant chicken.

Poison:
Nidoran (male) - I'm not a great fan of Poison-types, and I've never run into anybody who is. But this guy is sort of cute.
Crobat - He has 130 Speed and isn't as annoying as Golbat.
Venomoth, Spinarak, Ariados - These are basically the only non-Scyther Bugs that I like, which is weird because spiders absolutely terrify me in real life and moths are pretty up there. And none of them are amazingly good, although Venomoth's okay in UU. It's just one of those things.

Ground:
Cubone, Marowak - Kickass starters in Mystery Dungeon, whatever that's worth. Thick Club is a bonus!
Diglett, Sandslash, Trapinch, Phanpy - Assorted monotypes which are sort of cute. I don't trust Diglett, though. It gets Sucker Punch and it hasn't even got hands.
Rhyhorn, Rhydon - I liked them a lot, but Rhyperior is plain ugly. No wonder nobody uses it.
Groudon - Best Earthquake in the game, hooray! :DDD
Flygon - He had that typing before Garchomp, and now he's overshadowed. ;-; But he's still cool.
Gible, Gabite - Gible's adorable and Gabite doesn't look that bad by D/P standards. On the other hand, they evolve into :x Garchomp.

Flying:
...oh, god.
Skarmory - Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Yes, it's both! Sort of.
Aerodactyl - Anybody insulting this guy makes me very, very sad. I recently renamed mine Myfanwy. Previously he was called Pterry.
Scyther, Natu, Altaria, Dragonite, Lugia, Salamence - If I went through all of these separately I'd end up with carpal tunnel.
(Togekiss, Doduo, Dodrio, Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Spearow, Taillow, Noctowl, Swablu, Charizard, Moltres, Gyarados, Wingull, Zapdos, Articuno, Crobat)

Psychic:
Latios - He may not be as useful or as popular as his sister, but I like him. He's cool-looking.
Mew - Mew!
Mewtwo - Not fond of him in the movies, although in the prologue to the first he is really adorable. And in the games, obviously I don't need to mention how godly he is.
Espeon - The only Calm Mind passer I ever use. And aww, she's a kitty.
Cresselia - Okay, she looks silly, but having her on my team means I have a Blissey substitute and even though she may not be quite as specialised, I like her.
(Slowbro, Celebi, Gallade, Natu, Lugia)

Bug:
Scyther - Have already mentioned him, and he is cool, but mostly because he doesn't look like an insect.
Shuckle - Fine, there is one other Bug-type I don't mind, just because of Power Trick. Power Trick, somebody to set up Trick Room and a Wide Lens for good measure.
(Venomoth, Spinarak, Ariados)

Rock:
TYRANITAR.
(Kabutops, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Aerodactyl, Shuckle)

Ghost:
Giratina - ♥ !
Misdreavus - I have a special place in my heart for Missy. ♥ A shame that its evolution turned out looking ridiculous.

Dragon:
Dratini, Dragonair - Can I have a squeeee here?
Dialga - He looks stupid. Whatever. In uber play, he's love. And I really have problems pronouncing his name, even though I know how it's meant to sound. I keep mentally reading it "dee-al-gi-a", which isn't even close.
(Kingdra, Flygon, Gible, Gabite, Altaria, Dragonite, Salamence, Latios, Giratina)

Dark:
Umbreon, Absol - Unless I'm very mistaken, everybody puts these down. :|
(Houndoom, Sneasel, TYRANITAR~)

Steel:
Jirachi - I'm sort of indifferent to him, but this section was looking lonely...
(Empoleon, Riolu, Lucario, Skarmory, Dialga)

In conclusion, Tyranitar is still awesome.

oh shit, memes, irrelevant, pokemon
