We're talking about Granny, here. If Gumshoe is lucky, she might leave him still capable of walking without assistance... Talking coherently is probably expecting too much. You've got to feel sorry for Gumshoe, though.

Part of me is saying something to do with chemistry or other aspects of forensic science-y stuff, while part of me is thinking "how to live in an apartment for a dollar a month"... The former I think Ema would be better at, but there's no contest for the second one.

Well, she's like in her early 30's and Takato is 10, so... Though, contemplating this question has made me imagine what it would be like if Torchwood Three worked on something with Hypnos. It'd be awesome! And result in the deaths of everybody within twenty miles of Cardiff and Tokyo, but that's a minor detail.
12. Describe the relationship between 2 and 8 in the canon. Would you change it? Why? (Taichi + Tosh)
I've realised that I'm being kind of lame on all the questions involving Tosh so far. This one is no exception.
13. In your list, who do you think is the perfect match for 3 and why? (Esme)
Dammit, I didn't put Iroh on the list! DX Um... I'm slightly inclined to say Phoenix, because it'd be like him getting harassed into submission by Wendy Oldbag. Except Esme is actually threatening and not nearly as stupid, so it's not all that similar, but he'd still be in a really unenviable position.
...You know, that's kind of cruel.
14. 2 (Taichi) has a dream where 10 (Ruki) tells him/her to save 1 (Gumshoe), who is facing certain doom. What would 2 do?
Obviously rush off to the rescue, then realise that he has no idea where Gumshoe is or how to save him, then whine a bit and go home. And then Gumshoe will at the last moment be bailed out by Edgeworth, who will reduce his salary. :D
15. 9 (Phoenix) and 6 (Takato?!) are about to get married, until 3 (Esme) crashes their wedding and abducts 9 (Phoenix)against his/her will. 6 (Takato)follows them, but must forge an uneasy alliance with his/her archrival, 1 (...Gumshoe). They must then hijack some form of transportation from 8 (Tosh)in order to get to 3's lair, where they must fight against 3's evil zombified minions. What will happen next?
Whatever transport they stole from Torchwood will explode in a magnificent and CGI way, using up all of the budget. Then Takato will run away, because he's not an idiot, and Gumshoe will get himself killed because he is ;-; . Oh yeah, then Esme gets rid of the zombies because she can't abide that sort of thing and sends them all to Ankh-Morpork to make new un-lives for themselves. Then we end up with question 13.
16. 8 receives a gift from 9. Does s/he open it or not? If so, what is inside? (Tosh + Phoenix)
It'd be something cute like a badge, and she'd be slightly flattered and then after a little while Nick would die because Tosh can't seem to have normal relationships.
17. 4 is walking home when s/he sees a cute fluffy creature, which promptly begins rubbing itself against his/her legs. Will s/he kick it away, or take it home? (Harry Potter)
He'd probably Expelliarmus it. Harry is a bastard. D:
