Things I don't get, entry #42: people who obsess over audio quality. Well, up to a certain point I can understand - it's not as much fun when you can't clearly make out the vocals or main instruments in a song - but beyond that, I'm not sure what the deal is. Apparently, the only reason not to have your entire collection in lossless is if you run out of hard drive space first, and anything lower than 256kbps wants to strangle your relatives and vomit on your lawn. ★===
Is it something you just fail to pick up on after having listened to nothing but 8-bit videogame bleeping for most of your formative years, or if your hearing tends to fail in general? I'd genuinely like to read some kind of explanation.
