(no subject)
Well, this mildly sucks. It doesn't look like I'll be able to catch any of Children of Earth as it airs. We've apparently gone and got a new TV, and Matt is so happy with it that he won't let it out of his sight. Matt is two years old. He goes to bed much later than he should do, because if you try to drag him upstairs he starts screaming like a foghorn... and shutting him in the kitchen doesn't work as well as it used to because he's learned how to operate doors now. I know it's maybe not series 1 any more, but still, I don't think it would be a good idea. Thank random-fluctuations-in-the-space-time-continuum for filesharing, at least.
Also, I won't be able to catch the entire thing, even late, until Tuesday. Our plane leaves at about 8:00 PM on Thursday, and of course it's all the way down in Heathrow; we arrive back home sometime in the middle of Monday afternoon, but I'm probably going to be disoriented and jetlagged (I think you're supposed to get better at recovering from it the more flights you've been on, but I haven't yet). With that in mind, I might just wait and watch the whole series then, to avoid that nagging feeling of suspense. Or I might watch half of it anyway and deal with it, which would be fine too.
The radio plays are being saved for the plane. I'm no good with plane journeys, usually. Of course, I have no idea what I'm going to do on the way back.
The concert is on Saturday, and I got hold of a video camera, so I'll be filming it! It may turn out crap because I don't think I'll get a decent place to stand, but it's worth the effort. Also, it will probably be so shaky as to be unwatchable and interspersed with high-pitched squees. I don't care. It's gonna be an awesome show. I wonder if They'll premier any of the newly-announced Here Comes Science songs? I'm really intrigued by some of those titles.
In other news... when random strangers comment on my writing saying that they think it doesn't totally fail, it makes me feel feeds my ego makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :D Random strangers! If you're there, please feel free to comment some more. Even if you do think it totally fails. I don't mind.
