blitzy
vet went out to see blitz on Thursday. i organised with Sherree's regular vet (lark Hill) for them to check on his snotty nose. it was WHITe and so thick and gross. he left snail trails (more like, a massive super highway) up his legs from rubbing his nose. poor guy.
apparently it's a cold and he's been given an antibiotic paste that he needs 2x a day. he's also been separated from Millie, sherree's daughter's eventer, as millie goes off the farm regularly and it COULD be infectious (tho the vet doubts it). we'll see how the antibiotics work.
so glad i found sherree. the BEST people, my horse loves it there and they are just so savvy and such good, caring horse people. she called to ask if he'd prefer powder in his feed or a paste. i told her he shouldn't be bothered by the paste. hopefully he won't be.
