HOLY CRAP, i've had the most wicked day @ adult riders.
i'll update in detail later when i'm not so tired. but in a nutshell:
we jumped 3'!!!! (and then fell off... but still....) we jumped 3'!!!! hahaha.
other pluses:
we also negotiated a coffin, a ditch, several uprights, a small family of kangaroos, riding in a group, THREE HOURS of riding, getting on the float and... eating a particularly delicious chicken & salad roll.
some minuses:
* having a meltdown when beejy decided NOT to get on the float @ 8.15 this morning.
* not once, but TWICE taking off in a group lesson & being told to 'work over there & whatever you do, don't hurt anybody else'. as a result... i learnt NOTHING from my flatwork lesson... but have a lesson with carly tomorrow, which shall redeem that idea
* beej discovering a whole new world of evasion - head jiggy tossing bullshit & sucking back & avoiding work like you wouldn't BELIEVE - he is usually such a star going to the
left, but he was fucking SSS shaped (like bulging thru the shoulder, nose poking in, eye poking out, ears uneven plus disuniting and RUNNING rather than cantering like a real pony)
anyways. i stink.
edit::: another plus is being able to fit (well, one leg anyway) into some gaiters that i gave away because i didn't fit them. i Indian gifted them tho because i wanted to see if i fit them yet with the fitness i've gained.
I CAN.
so cool. i haven't lost any weight really, but have dropped a dress size or so.
