chiro visit

hrm.

if i ever give up teaching i'm definitely going into equine chiropractice. i know it's recommended one be a VET before you do so, but still...

this dude was with beej for like FOUR MINUTES.

he banged his back/spine with a rubbery thing that he held cupped in his hands, then he rubbed his haunches, picked up his back legs & lifted them sharply UP to release pressure from the sciatic nerve. you could see beej no longer dipped in his haunches.

he also said he had some neck issues & i laughed & said he had lots of issues. he took his head (both ways) and kind of pressed it and you could hear the bones CRUNCHCRACKCRACKCRACK.

*squick*

BUT amazingly, you can now put a shitload of pressure on around his poll & he doesn't flinch away. plus his eyes looked clearer or something, idk.
crazy!

kelli's going to give him a deep tissue massage on the weekend too, which is great. YAY.

also picked up some chaff, lucerne chaff, pellets & full fat soya.

beejay, pony stuff
