so i'm on this other forum i visit - mostly west aussies. and there's a thread about "so how hot is it?"
and this one woman has posted - she lives on a station out in Payne's Find ( view map - scroll out to see where it's located in WA) which, apart from being on a major road, is pretty much the middle of nowhere/desert as you can come.
so, it was FIFTY FIVE DEGREES during the day and THIRTY EIGHT at night. OMFG.
that's 131degF & 100degF

she said that she was chatting to a truckie out on the road, and he measured SIXTY SEVEN DEGREES outside his truck. who knows how accurate that is tho. but still. JESUS CHRIST.
that's like "worlds hottest place" kind of hot, i'm thinking. made the news 2 nights in a row apparently for being the hottest place in the state. jesus.
the 38-40 forecast seems VERY FUCKING COOL by comparison, methinks.
