what the fuck, something is wrong with my POST option on LJ - i can't SEE what i'm typing. bloody stupid thing.
anywho.
apparently i'm hanging with my dad today, which he didn't inform me of until like 5pm last night.
anyways. i was SO buggered for some reason yesterday that i didn't even take beejay out of his yard. unusual for me, i do NOT like to just drop in and feed and then run. even if i have to be quick i'll take him down to my tack shed for his carrots or a quick groom. i even had a snooZe in the car! omg. i think it was the 7am get up after only a few hours sleep. meh.
pretty hot today - 34degC. not too bad, but bad enough. i left his airflow rug on because he sweats even without rugs & the flies were driving him nuts yesterday. so i put his little booties on and voila, hopefully he'll be protected from the flies at least. also, i have a feeling the vented rug is pretty good heat protection & at least it stops him bleaching out.
i've got a total mesh rug, but i'm concerned about the heat in it because it's undercolour is black... plus it's blitzen's and parts of it are coming loose. i'm sure i'd cope if it got wrecked, but it would still piss me off.
