so it appears that my boss isn't returning for the rest of the term so i am left in charge.
the downside of this is that i am FUCKING SICK OF IT and WANT TO GET BACK TO TEACHING instead of dealing with all the fucking office politicking and bitching and recalcitrant children that this job entails.
the upside of this is that i get a MASSIVE PAY RISE for the weeks that he's away. won't make much of a difference to my general standard of living, but will help go towards servicing my car and getting the variety of fitters & body workers out to my horse that i want. so yeah, GOOD stuff.
not to mention TAX. which i haven't done yet. from last year.
omg i am so dead.
thankfully our government will not shoot me dead in a dark alley for failing to get my tax done, but i will prob get a fine. hrm, should prob get onto that sooner rather than later, huh?
and last night, our house was the scene of much debauchery and there was even....
A BARENEKKID HOSTESS!!!
when i asked jed what she wore, he was like, "boots. and a scarf."
"what else??"
"nothing..."
:X
anywho. so jed was a VERY GOOD FRIEND and i was a SUPER AWESOME, BESTEST GIRLFRIEND and stayed at Rhiannon's house whilst jeddy hosted a buck's party!!! OMFG.
but all are alive. there was vomit, but it was cleaned. the house smells FUNKY and of BOY BITS so i have bleached the toilet & laundry floor & lit up a shitload of incence to get rid of the smell.
dunno what it is, but it's weird, i tell you.
...
on the horsey front, i spent about an hour or so massaging beejay on sunday night. when i saw him last night he was hardly sensitive at all when i pressed on his tender bits, so that's good. he got a very thorough going over.
he DID visit beejyland yesterday tho, which was interesting. i could tell he was in a mood when i got out of my car because i called out and there was ZERO response from him. even when i got up to his paddock, he kind of went thru the motions of coming to the gate, but his eyes were vacant and he just was NOT tuned in at all. even when i offered carrots, he was very half arsed about it and was just looking off into the distance. he also got very spooky & tried to barge right through me, but i was holding his feedbin. hard plastic serves almost as good as an elbow.
he was *ok* for the rest of the night; a bit spooky & BOLTED when guinness took off in the arena. he was loose grazing & just ran down the laneway. kelli tried to stop him but he was blind to her, so she quickly jumped out of the way. once he recovered (quickly - if he bolts & gets loose, he can sometimes take a very long time to stop panicking) kelli was able to grab him. silly pony.
and then once i'd fed him he was STILL off. like boggling off into the distance at leaves blowing or something. i think i def need to change his diet whilst he's on the richer hay. hrm...
naughtiness,
beejay,
work
