Blitzwing because he's a NUT and I loev him to bits. even if he is a batshit triplechanger who gets his lulz out of ripping people's arms off and making bad puns about it. And it's very interesting to write his reactions to everything because it's like writing for three different people, all in the same body. They sometimes have unified reactions to something if the emotion is strong enough, but usually? LOL CANNOT AGREE ON ANYTHING.
Blurr. Just. Holy shit for what is roughly 9-10 minutes of screentime tops I just have. RAPT ATTENTION, GUYS. poisontea contributed greatly to this because she plays the best Blurr of all time (of all time!), and the fic I'm writing about him (partially because I want to do a bit of world and backstory expanding and mostly because it's a subtle giant FUCK YOU to the fact that most of the fandom seems to think Blurr cannot exist without being in a relationship; he is rarely written as a standalone, from what I've seen. I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THAT. And also I would like to say, I'm interested in writing Blurr and Shockwave as actual enemies with no impending raep/love. 8|) just contributes to that. TL;DR HE IS A DAMN INTERESTING CHARACTER and I would love people to explore more of his personality besides BLAH BLAH BLAH SPEEDSTER WOOBIE OBVS NEEDS TO BE SEXED UP or something.
Shockwave because I LIKE HIM DON'T YOU JUDGE ME. He's interesting to play with; after all, the original G1 incarnation ran purely on logic, but in Animated he's more...human, so to speak. He makes bad decisions because he panics, and that's not something G1 Shockwave is likely to do because he doesn't have the capacity to. And that's what endears him to me, really; he's not just an efficient war machine incredibly loyal to Megatron, he has his own personality, and while his loyalty is part of what he is, it's not everything that defines him - he's more three dimensional than his G1 counterpart.

He fights to win, not to kill; and if he has to beat someone's face in to disable them, he will, but he's not a natural killer.

THIS KID SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANYWHERE NEAR THE HOUSE and I feel so goddamn sorry for him, because he doesn't treat it like a magical adventure (and this is mostly due to Garth Nix's excellent characterisation and writing), he hates it and wants to go home and be normal again, but in the end it never happens.
Monday. I play him, c'mon 8| and honestly, the poor guy has gone through almost as much shit as Arthur has, over a significantly longer space of time. HE IS SERIOUSLY A WOOBIE, even if he doesn't show it much, and oh god I just want to hug him and wrap him in a blanket and give him soup and make sure nothing bad happens to him ever again.

Everyone in Monstrous Regiment, holy shit. Wazzer and Polly and Jackrum and just AAAAAAA I loev all of them. The part where the Duchess speaks through Wazzer seriously made me cry. TERRY PRATCHETT STOP PULLING MY HEARTSTRINGS.

He bluffs like a champion and tricks people into seeing what they want to see so he can hoodwink them, isn't entirely sure what he's doing when he becomes a glorified hero, and starts tricking himself, because if he knows he can quit any time he'll keep doing it.
