Favorite Beatle as a Beatle:
John Fucking Lennon. XD
Favorite Beatle as a solo performer:
I really, really like John’s stuff. It’s powerful. Though Ringo is a really, really, REALLY close second.
First memory of the Beatles?
Hahaha, well, Backstage at our production of John Lennon & Me, jamming to Hello Goodbye, Drive My Car and some others I can’t remember what was played, and then looking out into the audience and seeing my Uncle (big ass Beatles fan as well) dancing in his seat. Also, Drive My Car gets me all revved because of that. XD
First Beatles album you bought?
Rubber Soul was my first, but it was technically a present. So were Sgt. Pepper and MMT. I think the first one I purchased myself was… Well, Anthology 1. And then Revolver.
Number of Beatles albums owned (approximations are okay):
6 CDs (Sgt. Pepper, MMT, Revolver, Rubber Soul, Anthology 1 (Disc 1 and 2)), AHDN 33 ½, Abbey Road 33 ½, and then one Beatle 45 (Hey Jude/Revolution).
Number of solo Beatles albums owned (approximations are okay):
LPs: (Listed by Aside because I’m too lazy to look at side B)
3 Lennon 45s (Stand By Me, Imagine, (Just Like) Starting Over), 3 Ringo 45S (Only You, Photograph, Back off Boogaloo), 2 Paul (Band on the Run, Jet) and one Beatle (Hey Jude/Revolution) with no George (this makes me sad). Plus a CD By Sean.
Favorite Beatles album:
Ooo. I’m a bit addicted to Abbey Road. Especially the A Side. Side B is awesome, too. But I also love Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour.
Least favorite Beatles album:
Mmm. I don’t know, I can’t exactly say that. Even albums with a lot of songs I’m not terribly fond of there are enough that I like for me to not be able to hate it.
Favorite Beatles song:
ARGH. Um… Um…. Here Comes The Sun.
Favorite obscure Beatles song:
I really like Blue Jay Way, though I don’t know if it’s ‘obscure’ or not. I know I hadn’t heard of it before getting the album, so…
Least favorite Beatles song:
I’M SORRY PAUL BUT I REALLY DON’T LIKE BACK IN THE USSR. (This is because of Rockband, god dammit).
Favorite solo Beatles album:
SDFLKSJDFLKDS. Um… Um… Imagine? I don’t know.
Favorite cover by the Beatles:
By the Beatles, of someone else? Mrs. Robinson.
Favorite cover by the solo Beatles:
Stand By Me, John Lennon. OHGOD YES. I squealed when Pandora pulled it up for me. XD
Favorite cover of the Beatles:
I haven’t heard to many, except for commercials. The Blackberry one of All You Need Is Love is actually not bad though the pacing fucks with my mind.
Favorite cover of the solo Beatles:
Not very versed in covers. Oi.
Favorite Beatles movie:
Help! Or Magical Mystery Tour
“Strawberry Fields Forever” or “Penny Lane”?
I can’t choose. I really love them both!
“Hey Jude” or “Revolution”?
Revolution is BAD ASS. But I love Hey Jude.
“Something” or “Come Together”?
Ooo. Oooooo. Goodness. ONCE AGAIN I LOVE THEM BOTH. URGH.
“Free as a Bird” or “Real Love”?
Finally, I can make a choice! Free as a Bird.
Best Beatles song by John Lennon:.
YOU PEOPLE. MAKING ME CHOOSE. I’m such a John fan I can’t pickkkk.
Best solo song by John Lennon:
Mmmm. Dammit, can’t CHOOSE.
Best Beatles song by Paul McCartney:
I really like I’m Looking Through You and Get Back.
Best solo song by Paul McCartney:
Jet, Band on the Run
Best Beatles song by George Harrison:
Something, Here Comes The Sun.
Best solo song by George Harrison:
I NEED TO LISTEN TO MORE SOLO HARRISON. I KNOW NONE OF HIS SONGS. NONE. I AM ASHAMED.
Best solo song by Ringo Starr:
Only You or Down and Out. (And I’m really a sucker for Octopus’s Garden, even though Ringo Beatles Songs isn’t mentioned.)
