Ryuk was reported to my complex for being "off leash and out of control"
considering he hasn't been outside for more than 10 minutes a day in the last week (icky rain) and does not acknowledge people (not like there has been any to acknowledge when we've been out) or dogs without express permission and is NEVER permitted to approach them first....not to mention he hasn't been "out of control" in ANY stretch of the word since he slipped his collar for a total of 30 seconds when he was 6 months old......I have to wonder if they got the wrong dog.....
unfortunately our special permission to work off leash has been revoked which means no more daily training, frisbee, or other toy use for Ryuk (can't throw frisbee on leash and it's his highest value reward, not safe to do frisbee on a drag line).....I'll also be sure to do his on leash training (bite and fight drive building....which is loud and scary looking) right in the middle of the complex...
I'm going to try to ask my farmer neighbors if I can use part of their field which is right behind us....also "all dogs must be leashed" does NOT mean "you must hold the leash"
