So I just spent about an hour or so running a few of my active characters through The Mary-Sue Test

The higher the score the more mary-sue your character is...apparently my characters aren't very sue-tastic.....

So far my highest scorers, Radgon and Isaac, are tied at 22 points...which puts them in the middle ground (I admit, I did give them some extra points in things that are perfectly acceptable in thier universes...just to bump them up a little....)Isaac's brother Caleb was at 22 to (twin, same upbringing) but his physical and mental disabilities took some points away. Radgon got points for speedbumps in his childhood (product of rape, father tried to eat him, but it was happy after that!!!) and for being a hybrid (okay so it's not rare in the universe, but it's more uncommon than triplets and we're talking a muuuch smaller population here...he gets that point), Isaac also got points for upbringing as being ripped from your screaming infected mother (who soon after dies) then being raised in a lab is a bit uncreative (didn't get any points from an evil adopted parent or gaurdian though, he had a happy childhood overall, a bit rough growing up in post zombie apocalypse earth with a brother with the intelligence and personality of a rabid raccoon....but happy all the same)

All my parasite boys lost any point they gained on "remarkable in an unremarkable world" with the questions about how their "abilities" aren't actually that great (Jeb frequently going into shock from missing organs outweighs the fact that under certain conditions with proper diet and supplementing that he can regrow them...it he doesn't die first). Overall, not very Mary-Sue ish....

Poor old Lygon...he got a score of 6....no one loves tired old werewolves who actually look old and have pains like old people. He's lost a lover and a kid so he got points there....

Fun quiz though XD run your characters through it....then post the results!!!
