So today was a full out cage cleaning day for Integra and the roaches. As of yesterday there were three cockroaches and a millipede....all happy, all in the food dish being adorable....

however, when I opened up the tank this morning, what do I see? roaches....baby roaches, and lots of them! They are soooo cute, and not as small as I thought they'd be. I'm guessing they were born around 3 in the morning last night since it was after I went to bed, but they've had time to harden their exoskelitions (aka: they're not white anymore) and that takes a bit of time. I've got them all out of the main tank now into the nursery tank I never planned on actually being able to use. I mean, my female roach is nearly two weeks past when I expected there to be babies, I just figured she actually hadn't been pregnant, just fat...guess not

So far the count is around 35-40 though as soon as I got them into their enclosure they all piled on top of each other so, that count could be off.....

I'll give them a week then try and figure out who's male and who's female I'm debating keeping all of them, it's not like they take up room, even when they're big. I'd say three more containers and that'll house the lot by sex. That being said, if anyone WANTS roaches, by all means, you can have a pair or so....
