Hello my dear Festividder,
it's been awhile, how are you doing? I have missed the exchange for a couple of years, now I'm excited and impatient to see what you're going to cook up with one of the sources below.
As far as music goes, I'm really open to anything, whatever strikes your fancy.
Let's get to the stuff! The sources are in no particular order.
What We Do in the Shadows
Okay, I lied just now, I put the one I love the most on top of the list. :D So Much LOVE! I adore everything about this movie, even thinking about it makes me grin like a loon. My fave of the vampires is Viago, but only by a hair fraction, I so love them all, Vlad and his dead but delicious fashion sense, Deacon who puts up displays of erotic dance for his flatmates, Nick who needs to buy a clue, Stu who is rosy and perfect, Petyr and his fangs, Jackie who is so so done with it all. The Beast. The Werewolves-not-Swearwolves. Catherine, omg. I could go on! I don't know if this is helpful to you at all, but, man. So much love. Anything you make for this movie will be beyond perfect.
Father Ted
The best Irish tv show of all times. It's very hard to narrow down anything favourite about it, I really really like Dougal, but what would he be without Ted? And Father Jack. And Bishop Brennan! I should go and watch some Father Ted now.
Golden Girls
There really should be more Golden Girls vids in the world, don't you think? Bea Arthur is so fabulous, I'd be madly in love with anything with lots of Dorothy in it.
Ex Machina (2015)
I love the way I hate Oscar Isaac in this movie. :D And Caleb, is he or isn't he? If you include the disco dance scene, I shall die happy.
American Gods (TV)
Hooray for this to actually still count as a rare fandom! I had to glom on it while I had the chance. I love the look of the whole thing, especially the New Gods. Media! Technical Boy! Mr World! Well, and Shadow, of course. That goes without saying.
Secret of Kells (2009)
When I first saw this movie, I fell in love with the clever way they played with lines and perspective. I think the whole look of it is truly spectacular. The vikings, the wolves, the snowflakes, Pangur Bon! As for the characters, the relationship of Brendan and Brother Aidan is wonderful, and Aisling, too, and oh, when Brendan goes up against the Dark One! So beautiful. But what really wrecks me in this movie is Brendan's uncle, the abbot. Working so hard to keep everyone safe and putting all his energy and spirit into the wall, denying himself everything that would make his life a little less harsh, even the affection of his nephew, blaming himself when it all comes crashing down. And then when Brendan comes back, and shows him despite everything, there's light and beauty and love. Gets me every time. *snif*
Bob's Burgers (Cartoon)
The Belchers in all their glory! I adore them all, with maybe a slight bias towards Linda and Louise. And Tina. Ugh, there's no choosing!
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Oh the costume porn in the show, makes me want to lick the screen sometimes. As much as I love Phryne, period, or Phryne and Jack's thing together, I would love to see something showcasing the sheer awesomeness that is Dot. Or Dot and Bert and Cec and Mr Butler? They all kick ass.
But let me just tell you that no matter what you do, I am going to love the hell out of it, you perfect wonderful vidding superstar. Thanks for being fabulous. <3
