The Champions League final nearly killed me.
I hate it when a match goes to penalties and this was SO TENSE!
My household are all diehard MU supporters and if I display too much empathy for a rival side I pay for it!
I felt awful for Lampard though. After losing his mother the championship match was clearly his way out of thinking about it. As long as he was focusing on that. His face when they lost... heartbreaking.
It's a circus around here. People are out on the streets, our party-hard neighbours are doing what they do best. Partying hard. And loud. I'd say it's fine because it's a special occasion but they do this every other freaking week.
I'm just so pleased Manchester came through, because MU or MC fans, some of the children at work would have been in such a state tomorrow if we'd have lost. After the night long party across the road I would be in no state to deal with children weeping over a football match.
That being said, I'm a born and bred MU fan and pleased as hell right now. These are the benefits of having a commited manager and not a fly by night looking for a job bloke overseeing things.
We may be overly popular and therefore looked down on by some, but disreguarding buisness practices this is a club where loyalty makes the difference and not fair weather fans (notice I say difference and not money. Fair weather fans clearly make 90% of the money)
