My brother turns 21 on 9/11 (yes, 11 is the family number: Brian on 9/11, me on 4/11 at 11:00am and my mother on 3/11) and after I converted a few years back to Mahayana buddhism (see last video with my altars) Bri felt inspired by the deities Green Tara and Manjushri and moreso how Tibetan art is done on Thangkas - and so his back and leg are both on their way to being complete tattoo-replicas of their Thangkas.
The mantra on his back is the short form for the Green Tara: om tare tuttare ture soha - and my front wrist tattoo is the seed syllable for that mantra, while the other on my wrist is for the Avekitelosvara mantra: om mani padme hum
