well, then.
according to livejournal, i last updated 5 weeks ago.
i remember a time when i updated at least once a day, if not more.
then came myspace and facebook. haha.
anyway...
life has been treating me well.
one month of summer left, basically, and that makes me incredibly sad.
it's funny because all i do during the summer, anyway, is work.
but work is kind of like school. you see these people all day every day.
and now, what it comes down to, is people are leaving for college and the season is coming to an end. we'll spend 4 1/2 months bored out of our minds during the off season, and then we'll see each other again, and it'll be like we never left.
but! aside from all that...
i did get promoted again. =)
i've gone from the atl at the log flume...to the tl at the log flume...and now...
duh duh DUH!
i am the rides manager in bbnp.
i get to wear my own clothes now, and i think that's what i'm most excited about. =)
oh, and i get a raise.
i start next week with that...so come visit!
it's just nice because...a while back me and cmac were talking about how we feel we work our butts off and don't get any kind of recognition for it. well, apparently they did notice because she and i both got promoted. sweet deal. good things come to those who wait.
i do, however, have to work a minimum of 60 hours a week...but come september, we'll only be open on the weekends. so it won't be so bad.
i seriously need to register for school.
but i have to go to school to do it...and because it's a new campus, i don't know where anything is! i remember my FIRST day of college how it was so weird with all these new people and walking from class to class. I'm pretty much going through all that again even though its the same school, just a diff. campus. I'm excited though. I don't have to spend 4 days at my cousin's house waking up to 9 year olds throwing stuffed animals at my head and asking if I want to play Gamecube all the time. I can actually go home in between classes if I want, and I can work during the week as opposed to only working on the weekends. it'll be a nice change. =)
man, oh, man, am i hungry though!
i think i'm gonna go make myself a sandwich. =)
