I've Been Thinking of You...Got These Faraway Blues
Soo I went to Lot 332 on Saturday and ran into about 20 people from St. E! Ack high school seems to follow me everywhere I go. That being said, I had an awesome time. The crowd was 21+ so it was a bit more mature than anywhere else I've gone. The guys actually know when to back off there!
Anyways, so I was walking around looking for my friends when I spotted none other than Varano! Wtf?! I followed him up to the lounge area where there were at least 15 other St.E graduates hanging around. They were all there for Scott Bates' b-day party and had all taken a bus to the club. Considering that Toronto has a shitload of clubs, it's pretty freaky how we all ended up at the same. I even saw some people who graduated a year before us there as well who weren't part of the group. It's weird too because when I saw St.E people at York I had a tendency to walk the other way but I was actually glad to see these people who I barely talked to in high school. I think enough time has passed that everyone can just forget about high school and talk to a familiar face without awkwardness. The girls and I even ended up chilling with them for most of the night.
It was THE best club experience I've had thus far and I think part of it had to do with the lack of drinking. I've slowed down a bit and because of this I was able to just enjoy myself without the sickly, disoriented feeling that drinking inevitably brings. Scott was completely passed out within a few hours - poor guy.
The best part of the night? I got to watch the sun rise while on my way home. I was really paro and started freaking out about the fact that I was coming home as the sun rose. But I can honestly say that I had a great time.
