last weekend . . .
ok, so here's what happened LAST weekend, since i forgot to write about that...
thursday was fuckin awesome because i went to NYC with my aunt, cousins, mom and sisters [which isn't as bad as you think considering my mom obviously has the $$]. i went on a train [& to grand central] and a subway for the first time, and i didn't get motion sickness, so that was a plus. we went to a bunch of random stores, saw a lot of freakin weird ppl on the train, but it was the best trip i've taken to NYC because we didn't go to all the tourist spots, we just went wherever, and my family wasn't as obnoxious as usual [maybe it was all the walking]. here's what i ended up with:

friday, i was pretty amped to go to beachfest, mainly because my parents never let me go to any shows [toad's place..etc] or even the beanery so i was surprised they let me go when they told me i couldnt go last year. anyway i came at about 9:00 and saw the end of purple dream shack [not bad] and my friend's band rookie year [better] and i caught the beginning of electric koolaid [they were awesome] before my rents called and said we had to go at 10:30 :P. when i was walking around with kaitlyn, this kid [obviously drunk] kinda yells at me/us "hey you're pretty, get the fuck over here" and i'm like wtf dude he's gonna rape us [not exactly, i mean i dont take karate classes for nothing, but it was kinda weird hehe], and as we were walking away pretending not to hear him, he's like "o so youre ignoring me now?" and starts to follow us and i'm like o shit, but we just kept walking, and yea thats my story. anyways, i just wish i brought money with me so i could go out and get dinner/ice cream afterwards but w/e it was alright....maybe if i get invited to shows, my parents would let me go.....idk...
saturday i volunteered for the septemberfest [a small carnival thing at my church - did it for key club hours]. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be actually. yea it was pretty freakin cold, and rainy, but the people there were cool. i ended up working there from 12:30 [am or pm??] in the morning to about 11pm at night so that was my whole satuday....thats about 11 hours for community service, bitches! on a break, my cousin and i went on the scrambler ride and the guy who ran the ride over heard us talking about some girl [shes a frosh and goes out with guys who are college frosh so my cousin called her a whore and started ranting about her. so the guy comes over and goes "so why is she a whore?" and we're totally caught off guard, but my cousin goes "well she sleeps around..." and then he goes "well hey can i have her number? [laughs to himself] thats right everyobdy i'm funny all night!" and then he walks away. i thought it was hilarious. back to the work part, there were some pretty hot guys that came to our stand though [i worked at the main food booth] including one really hot guy wearing a canadian track jacket and he had an earring and was freakin adorable. i tried to find him again to talk when i had a break but i guess he left :/. o well the weekend was fun even though i had to spend it mostly with my family...
