Phone
so firday night i pathed it in to NYC, and met with robin and joe to see The Editors. during the show i met up with Ira's sister and here friends, now not really sure when, but at some point i dropped my phone outside. i later discovered this when i was trying to find my phone to text Taryn that i would be leaving to head over to Korova at some point. i didnt panic, and i tried not to be bitchy and jave it ruin my mood.
funny just a few hours prior i was chatting with a guy by the bathroom on how attached we are to our cell phones, and what would it be like to not have one in this day in age. so from about 10ish friday night till 5ish saturday i didnt have one.
saturday i came into work(i dont have a line in my apt) and called cingular from here. i would have to wait to get a replacement phone in till monday or tuesday. i was stressing but maybe thought it would be a good idea to weed out my numbers. and start fresh.
so i am abt to call back to give the address for the replacement phone, and i read my LJ, hehe and there Taryn wrote me telling me she has my phone!
some guy found it, called the last 5 numbers and Taryn picked up, he walked it down to Korova!! awesome!!
my phone was unharmed and intact.
phone karma is awesome.
