Happy Pride!

Ok all I can say is, I am so going to Pride in TO every year from now on! It was just an amazing weekend...although not as QAF related as some of yours (LOL). Although I did get to see Patrick Antosh in the parade :) Here's a few details about the weekend....I went with a straight girl friend and a gay male friend.

We got to TO on Friday around 10am,we did some shopping during the day and hit Church St around 9pm or so. Watched some outdoor stage entertainment, had Cosmos at Babylon and then hit Fly! Which was super crazy and fun as always.

At 5:30am the fire alarm went off and we had to go outside....luckily we were only on the 9th floor, so we didn't have too many stairs to climb down. Although I can honestly say I was half asleep through the entire thing, but apparently cursing the whole way! Sounds like me! :)

Saturday got up at noon, did more shopping, hit the liquor store and drank while getting ready. There was a Cher impersonator on one of the stages, who I loved. Cher just kicks ass! We ended up at Woody's, which was packed full and serving until 4am. There we met a really hot lawyer from Australia named Micheal who was there with...his friend Brian! (LOL I know...) Micheal looked like Hugh Jackman, which was a lovely sight! We hung out with them and a bunch of other great guys all night/morning.

Sunday, up around noon, watched the parade. Did more shopping (did I mention I have a shopping problem??) ate and went to get ready. We originally planed to make it an early night, but we met some great guys from Chicago and London and they kept buying the rounds so we kept drinking. We started out at The Looking Glass and ended up at Woody's again. We had an absolute blast, the highlight of the night had to be the Grease Lightening moves I was doing with one of them as my friends stared in awe ( I swear they have never seen Grease!! Wow hun?). Crazy fun times! I want to go back already!

I am beat and have to be back to work at 7am tomorrow....not looking forward to that.
