What an amazing teacher!
I've been thinking about mentors and teachers for a long time. Mostly because I've had some pretty terrible ones. In elementary school I had an amazing teacher who encouraged me somehow to make me turn my failing math grades into my best subject. I went on from almost being held back due to my math grades in elementary to taking college level calculus in high school because of her. Others mocked me she taught me.
