The future

Well, registration is upon us students like the humidity is upon everyone on a hot summer day in New Orleans. It sticks to you, it rubs up against you, it pushes you from the back while blocking you in the front. It weighs us down, especially the tuition payment. There is some sweetness to the story because it should be the last tuition payment for my master's program in economics. I will be finishing up the requirements for a sheet of paper that says, yeah, I will go ahead and jump through the hoops for a few years, but you had better compensate me for it.

Nothing is really planned for afterwords, I could take a few more courses and get my GIS certification. I am starting the prep work for a trip to Taiwan with a friend of mine. He is going to spend the summer with his family and I was invited to tag along for a bit. 3 weeks, maybe a month, however long they can take me for. I am trying to get my finances together to be able to fund the journey, shouldn't be too bad though. A nice trip to get away from Texas to say the least. I wrote to 7-11 Taiwan to see if I could work there for a bit, a sort of employee exchange program, but they do not have one and a work visa there is tricky to get.

Still building that mystery,

Blinky
