i just saw this comercial on tv for this kids laptop thing
there were all these 'cool' kids dancing around to cool music with the laptop while the announcer says 'now the smart kids and the cool kids are one in the same'
so the kids continue to dance, and then the announcer says "smart is in"
does this bug anyone else? since when has being smart been not cool? i dunno, it just seems that emphasis is more on being fashionable and poplular anymore than actually learning. but i guess that education isnt important anymore....gives a great message to kids dont you think?
