back from Orlando

So after Atlanta, we took a day break and then we went to Orlando to go to some disney parks. First was Animal Kingdom. Had some great shows there, Finding Nemo and Lion King. I liked Finding Nemo so much that I watched it twice. I also really enjoyed this bird show. Didn't have much of a chance to look at animals. Most of em were hiding during the safari but I got a few good looks at some tigers and bats in one of the nature trails. 2nd day was Hollywood Studios. Highlights of that day were probably the Studio Backlot Tour and the Stunt Show. Oh, and the really really hot weather!! Now this was SUPPOSED to be the end of our vacation because my dad had jury duty. But he called in and his day was excused so on a spur of the moment, we decided we would extend another night at the hotel and visit another park....which brings us to Epcot. They added some stuff to the Spaceship Earth ride which I really enjoyed. Mainly the part where you make selections on the little screen and it'll tell you stuff about your future and put ur face on an animated body. This was also my first time riding Soarin'. Wow, what a sight to see. I dragged my mom on it and she kept screaming "i'm gonna kill you david" the entire time mainly because of the initial shock from the intimidating restraint system and the fact that we were rising off of the ground. Though in the end, she liked it. I really wanted to finish off the 'Grand Slam' and visit all 4 parks (just Magic Kingdom left) but I was running out of clothes and my parents had to work. Guess we'll just have to finish it off later, probably sometime in the fall/winter cause it's really hot. (BTW, we can do all of this b/c we have a 5 day one park pass). We'll probably end up going to Magic Kingdom and then Epcot again (since we have 5 days and there's only 4 parks)

Bought this thing at Brookstone at the Mall at the Millenia. It's a little pillow/table thing so my legs don't get hot when i'm using a laptop. Best thing I didn't need. But it's okay, there's nothing in that store that anyone needs. It's strictly a luxury type thing. And i'm enjoying it very much at the moment. I hope it holds up b/c there looks like signs of early burn marks on the top from my laptop being too hot.

After all of this vacationing, I think i'm ready to go back to school. I'm seriously considering taking an easy Summer B class which would only give me a little less than 2 weeks of vacation left. Something to get me going on a schedule cause I still haven't started working on any of my goals for the summer (learning keyboard and doing some programming stuff). And when I say easy, I mean really easy. Looking for an online guarenteed A class. It'll be good too b/c this past semester I got demoted from Summa to Magna Cum Laude. HOpefully I can still salvage it if I get all A's the rest of my time at UF and taking some extra classes.

I'm about to buy a bunch of new games at game stop. I've had a renewed interest in my Wii lately. I've been pretty bored with it since after the disappointment of Brawl. Plan on buying Boom Blox Bash Party, Tiger Woods PGA tour '10 with Wii Motion Plus, and Grand Slam Tennis. Got addicted to Boom Blox after I played the first game at Kathleen's place. I've been waiting for a good tennis game for the wii and I hear this is the one. And then I've always heard how good the Tiger Woods golf games were so I figured I would give this one a go with the updated Wii Motion Plus thing.
