(no subject)
I PASSED ORGANIC CHEMISTRY.
WITH A FREAKING C
AND NOW I DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IT AT NASSAU OR BOROUGH OF MANHATTEN NEXT SUMMER.
im very happy :)
not sure how i did it.. but i did :D
and im home from school... and although i haven't seen anyone.. im not as bored as i was over the last summer and last weekend because i've been busy counting textbooks.
its a good job... decent pay... and its pretty easy for what i get. the only thing i dont like is that i have to wake up at around 7 am and then go to Carey like i was a student there.. which is actually really weird. whenever the bells ring i feel like i should be moving on to my next class.
so its just like going to high school... but i get paid. and i get to use the teachers bathroom and eat in the teachers cafeteria... its the little things that make me happy.. lol..
i think the worst part is that i still don't drive.. and i have to stand at the bus shelter with all the little kiddies and wait for my mom to pick me up... but if i want to i can always just wait in the office until she gets here.
and alot of the teachers think im a student still... one lady stopped me in the hall and was like.. where are you going??!!? and some black woman coming out of the teachers lounge while i was going in was like.. excuse me are you a student??
but the weirdest thing is probably seeing all the old textbooks that bring back some bad memories.. like the 10AP world history textbook... and my brother sam is dead.
but ive found the following books while i was working and counting and such..
stephs JANE EYRE and MY BROTHER SAM IS DEAD book
amandas JANE EYRE
kims A SUDDEN SILENCE (the book where the deaf kid gets hit by the green car and the brother is trying to figure out who did it and it turns out to be his friends alcoholic mother??... omg)
and my JANE EYRE too...
and a few more that i don't remember... its actually kinda funny.
but ive already found a few books that i want to read while im sitting down there with nothing to do. im reading 1984 now and i wanna reread animal farm, inherit the wind, catcher in the rye.. etc.
and then i wanna read brave new world, the giver, the outsiders.. etc.
time to go to bed :) ill update again soon..
and i'd like to see people this weekend... i miss everyone from the square like crazy... give me a call :)
