There's nothing quite like spending hours working on a characters backstory, abilities, family, personality, friggin' everythin'...only to be told they don't want to RP with me because, uh, they found someone else to do the idea with.

Great. I'm glad I have another fully-fleshed out character that will never see the light of day. I feel sorry for him.
