warped fucking tour.

the warped tour owns me. i had a fuckin blast. i got to see most of the bands i wanted to see and got a shit load of stuff. we got there at like 1230 and we walked around for a little bit and i got jon his shirt and as we were waiting for that we heard Matchbook Romance so we hauled ass over there and got decently close and during playing for keeps i was nearly crushed by an asian.. interesting experience. after them Sugarcult played and they got pissed cuz the crowd sucked and nobody was really into it except katie wills who bounced around like a crackhead during daddy's little defect.. what can i say. and after that New Found Glory started playing and this is where the beating began. for some reason people found NFG to be the perfect band to mosh to and during said moshing i fell for the first time ever and it scared the piss outta me. fortunately an ink-covered man with a shaved head politely picked me up and appologized for falling on top of me. other than that NFG wasnt too bad.. very energetic. Coheed&Cambria were up next and i was kind of dissapointed by them.. i really like their new cd and i was pretty excited but they werent very good live.. they sounded decent but they just werent very exicting. but during their set i turned to my right and was shocked to see bill hanlon.. yes our very own bill hanlon.. standing 5 feet away. what the fuck was he doing there? the world may never know. but yeah i saw bill and then TBS came on and kicked ass. elliot and i got stuck between two moshpits and he proceeded to freak out hahaha i love you el.. it was funny shit tho. after taking back sunday played i was soaked in sweat (not all my own either) and was packed so close to the fat kid infront of me i was halfway sucked into his asscrack so elliot and i decided to leave the main stage and go in search of food. so we got shitty ass smoothies and i bought a flogging molly shirt to change into because the one i was wearing was really disgusting and then we sat and listened to yellowcard who sounded quite shitty actually.. "GET UP!!.. LETS ROCK".. yeah um buddy.. you play a violin and have heavy rotation on TRL.. you dont get "rock" privledges. haha so great. after that.. i dont remember things in order because we didnt really listen to another band until i made elliot sit through anti-flag. but somewhere in there i bought a taking back sunday shirt a "not my president" shirt and button/pin/patch pack from punkvoter an antiflag shirt a pretzel and elliot bought two stop bush shirts and 20 dollars worth of drinks. so after me spending every dime i possessed we watched anti-flag who kicked so much ass its a wonder i can ever sit. justin sane talked about what a fucking moron bush is between every song while i laughed at the faces the republican fuckers in front of me made (: it was glorious. after anti-flag we watched story of the year who.. though they arent my favorite band.. were the best live show all day. between jumping from amps over drums to throwing guitars and doing flips.. they just all out owned me. they sounded great too. after that we waited for what seemed like days for bouncing souls to finish and then flogging molly played. i fucking love that band. anyone who can go onstage and have an accordian flute and violin and have fans with 12 inch mohawks doing a fucking jig.. are amazing. i love that he pauses between verses to drink and yell "you bastards".. makes me proud to be irish. but yeah they were great live.. even though some fucker fell on me cuz his friends just threw him up instead of passing him.. bastards.. it hurt like a bitch. haha but yeah after that we left and went back to the hotel and nothing of interest happend.. honest.
