I really suck when I have a job. Everytime I come home I end up taking like a 3 hour nap on the couch. Its not even like my job is hard or stressful. I'm ususally just sitting around doing nothing. Today is my day off and Tim is off too so I told him we'd have a day of fun. We're going to go goofy golf and then go see Superman in IMAX at the World Golf Village. I thought we'd go hit balls today but its just too hot to be outside in the sun. We have to go to Orlando on Wendsday which I'm not sure if i'm looking forward to it or dreading it. We have to go for Tim's work dinner so its just going to be me being bored to death with Fossil talk. We found out that they are opening a new store in Charleston which could possibly be good news for us if they haven't filled the position yet. I guess he's going to bring it up to his regional person whenever he sees her. I'm so ready to get out of Florida. Other than that not much is new. I found a wrap I want to add to my solitaire that is really fancy. Is it bad to want to trade up your engagement ring? Anyway I can't decide between the one with baguettes or the one with channel set diamonds but enough with the jewelry talk. I guess that is the downside of working in a jewelry store...you just want to buy stuff!
We went to Cortesses (martini bar) last night since we heard a band was up there. We had fun last time we went up there with this other couple that we know. Anyway we walk in and seriously we were the only people under 40. Watching old drunk people dance to a classic rock band is probably the funniest thing I've witnessed all month. AND the dirty dancing! Geez, I dont think I am going to grind on an old bald guy when I'm old. Somewhere in all that mad partying I realized that Coronas dont even taste like beer. Its weird how many young people here dont drink beer. This girl I work with is 21 and married and goes to Flagler and has NEVER tasted beer in her life. Her husband is some baseball player that went there and his drink of choice is pina colada. I am just weirded out by all this. But I guess we aren't in the south and this is no beer town. Ah well.
