my trip home

so timmy and i went home this past weekend. the drive there wasnt so bad but i got really bored the whole time. i got home and was kind of shocked. my house had been like gutted on the inside and there were a whole bunch of people ripping out the walls and ceilings and stuff. all that stuff has to be replaced along with the insulation. my parents have been living in a tent in the back yard for a few days. its not as bad as it sounds and i actually think they have been having fun just hanging out. they moved some stuff inside since its getting too cold to sleep outside. overall i know it could be a hell of a lot worse. so yeah a lot of work has to be done but my mom said she was happy to do it and make the house better than it was before.

since my house was practically condemned and stuff i stayed at timmy's house. being around his parents is just awkward as hell. timmy's mom is just really shy and he told me she was just trying to make a good impression on me. i guess i'm just used to my own parents who grab anybody and are like hey come tell me your life story and timmy's parents who can barely manage small talk. but whatever its not like i have to hang out with them very often. we didn't really do anything exciting; i was super tired most of the weekend. the drive back yesterday totally sucked. it takes about 4 hours to get to tallahassee from os and yesterday it felt like it took about 20. we finally got home and had to unpack all the crap my parents and tims parents had given us.

now its raining and has been all morning. boooo
