news flash
so we found somewhere to live.
its a 1br/1.5ba condo in Las Palmas. i really didnt want to live in a complex but there is like nothing for rent in the whole town. very frustrating. i think the rent is too high; $830 for 1147 sq ft. not to mention its a townhouse so its going to be a bitch to move everything upstairs. its not like a normal townhouse where only the bedroom is upstairs either. as soon as you upen the front door there is an inside stairway up the the "main" level and then there are more stairs to get up to the bedroom. not looking forward to moving. there wasnt originally a w/d in there but i told the realty guy (who was a total dick by the way) that i didnt want to move anywhere where a laundry mat would be a part of my life so he talked to the owners and they are going to put one in for us. the place is pretty nice; its a new complex all the appliances are new and we have a litte smoke deck. the kitchen is pretty big with an island. i forgot to look at the light fixtures while we were in there though. they probably suck anyway. i think the worst part is our new address. 307155 Aqua Vista Lane....why not just make it Aqua Velva Lane. what a stupid street name.
so needless to say things this past week (and i'm sure the next) have not been going smoothly.
after begging tim to fix my rearview mirror (it fell down about a month ago) he finally goes to fix it last night. what does he do? he locks my keys in my car. i dont have a spare set because when we moved here i had asked tim to go have keys made so he would have a set about four or five times and he never got around to it. so now i'm waiting for pop a lock so i can go to the bank and run errands. i kept myself from yelling at him last night about doing something so stupid but i figure its not like he did it on purpose he's just an idiot sometimes. thats one thing ive never done in my life is lock my keys in my car. how does that happen.?? agh enough i'm getting angry again.
