From earlier today:
Me: In other news, phils are beating yankees 4-0 in the 6th.
wizardru:Where, in Florida? You’re such a baseball nerd.
Me: Yes, in Florida. How was there ever baseball before the internet?
wizardru:It’s called Television. Look it up on Wikipedia.
Me: Apparently, television was a dedicated video distribution process. Curiously, it was originally developed as wi-fi, and later adapted to network usage. Sounds kind of backward, if you ask me.
