To View the World Through Religion
Hello All,
Well I should probably state why I am here. For my Cultural Anthropology class I have to create a blog that discusses some sort of world issue or topic. After a good deal of trying to figure out what exactly I was going to write about I decided to use this blog as not only a way of talking about my ideas, but to get information from other people about their ideas. But I'm getting ahead of myself. First I should state my topic that I have chosen.
Throughout my childhood I grew up without any dedication to religion. Having both of my parents come from divorced marriages, the church wasn't exactly the first place we went on Sunday. It wasn't until I was eight years old that I myself asked my parents to make me part of the Roman Catholic community. And even though I no longer feel that being part of the church is the place for me, it was still something that I am glad that I came to understand. So my goal now is to try and understand other religions.
For this blog I will be gathering information from various sources that I may not be sure are 100% correct. I will also be giving my interpretations of different religions. That being said, please help me understand what I don't know. If you are part of a religion that I don't know anything about please tell me more about it. Also if you follow a religion that you would like to see me talk about contact me. I'm always open to learning new things!
