(no subject)
I haven't been on the computer at all in a week. And sadly, it happens very rarely since I got a MySpace. I've had homework, and not enough to overwhelm me, just enough to keep me from having too much spare time. I do miss talking to my friends as much as usual though. (JT, I never get to talk to you anymore!)
I got a 71% on my first APUSH test. I was disappointed that I didn't get higher, but then I realized that I only studied for like 20 minutes, and I suddenly was proud of myself. lol
Right now I'm searching through scholarships that I'm eligible for, and I'm thinking that I probably shouldn't be too picky when I have the chance of getting $1000 for writing an essay.
I'm actually enjoying school this year. Granted, my classes aren't the best... but my teachers are. I really click with them, and that is almost always symbolic of how well I do in the class, so hopefully it means I'll be doing well this term.
I got in a fight with my dad the other night about Florida. Basically, I told him "it's absolutely ridiculous that we've been here almost a year and still haven't visited yet!" ...for every excuse he gave, I shot it down with a solution, until he just started to make up unintelligible excuses. I told him it was useless talking to him, and turned to leave, and he goes "Fine! We'll see what the answer will be when you ask next time!" and I told him that it wouldn't be any different from what it would've been.
