I just found out the worst news I've heard in a while. My beloved Get Up Kids are breaking up after ten years. The Get Up Kids have been one of my favorite bands for a long time. Listening to their music have managed to lighten up my day when I have felt sad. Valentine is a song that I would like to dance to at my wedding (whenever I get married). Something To Write Home About and Red Letter Day will remain two of my favorite cds of all time. Along with The Promise Ring, The Get Up Kids helped to found the musical movement we now know as emo. I will forever be a fan of the Get Up Kids.
