Been a LOOONNGG time!
Well I can honestly say that it has been a long freakin time since I have updated this thing. I was going to try to a long time ago but I couldn't remember my password but I figured it out today. A lot has happened in the past 2 years. Yes...it has been that long since I have updated! I know...I can't believe it either.
I will start with last year. 2008. I finished my sophomore year of college at Appalachian State. When I got home for the summer I started working at St. John's New Mission Daycare. I loved working there, it was just pure happiness for me. I fell in love with so many of the kids and now they are all my babies!! I started out as a floater and was moving from room to room. Then I was pretty much a permanent fixture in the crawlers room, which at the time was just fine because I loved both the ladies I worked with. Something happened with one of them though that made me not like her anymore. I moved from there to the toddler room and really loved working in there. Then for my last 2 months there I was in the 3 year old room. I had a blast in there too. I had decided when I got home from school that I was going to take a semester off from school. So that's why I worked at the daycare so long, May to December. I broke up with Zach soon after I got home. I couldn't take it anymore. In December I started dating Marty Sabo. That didn't last very long though. I'm still sad that it didn't. I think that we made a great couple. He broke up with me over facebook right around Valentine's Day. Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went. Nicole and Travis got married. That was amazing! I caught the bouquet!!!! I was so happy for them!! I went back to school in January. I moved into an apartment at University Highlands. 2009. What a year that this has been! My head has just been so turned around. I had no idea how to think. I went through idk how many guys. I met some amazing guys but also some scum of the earth. I still talk to 2 of them pretty regularly. I actually dated a guy that's in the Army. He's a sweetheart but we have different views on certian aspects of relationships. I miss him a lot but it's best that we broke it off. I turned 21 this year. I was sooo thrilled! I got my first ever, hopefully the last, speeding ticket the day after my birthday. I was on my way home to go out to eat with my parents to have my first legal drink. We went to Bravo to eat and it was amazing! The next night Misty and Nicole took me out to Chili's and bowling. I drank so much! LOL!! I took some summer classes. That was just absolutely crazy! Went on my first cruise in August for my birthday! It was AMAZING!! I love Royal Caribbean International and the Liberty of the Seas!! It is my boat!! LOL!! I danced, I drank, I flirted and just overall had a blast!! Went back to school. Moved into a new apartment at University Highlands. Our first football game was against ECU so Zach and I went down to that game. We stayed with Mark, and it was totally awesome!! Well...except for his creepy roommate that had a thing for me. Zach and I got back together that weekend. We talked about it and talked about it and I decided well hell...why not? We've been together since then. I love him to death but I want someone better. Thanksgiving came....and it went. I went out shopping on Black Friday with Misty. Then I went out with Amanda Varner and her friends for her batchelorette party. Yes!! Amanda got married!! I couldn't believe it! Her and Jamie Wynn got married that Sat.! Saturday November 28th. I caught the bouquet there as well. The odds are stacking against me. I have to find the guy that I want to marry...and soon!! LOL!! Other things: -Twilight came out in theater's 2008 -New Moon came out 2009 -I read all the books....4 times through -Just finished reading through them for the 5th time -Gotten into reading Clive Cussler books -Paid off my car this year! -Have an awesome new friend Mary...one of my roommates -Going on a cruise in a few days -Gotten into photography again -Addicted to Flickr -Just trying to make it -Now a criminal justice major -Took ASL -Became friends with Melody (Can't believe that) -Mom and dad both have Facebook -This is now my only outlet that they can't see -That's only because they don't know about it -I need to lose weight badly! -I hope to work out a lot on this cruise -Mrs. Mary passed away this year...she was I think 96 years old. -Paw Paw (Misty's) passed away this year Just a lot has happened in this year alone! I can't believe that this year is just about over. There is so much that I still want to do. There is one guy that I want to get so badly! I love him!!!!! I really do! But honestly I don't know that I will ever get him. Andrew has become so much more than a big brother to me! If I could just see him in person one time I might be able to convince him. He has told me that maybe we would date when I get out of school. I'm going to hold him to that. That's about all I can think of at the moment. If I think of more I will update again! <3 Me
