Chapter 16 beaten into submission
Despite being in pain from pushing myself to complete the Bridge to Brisbane, I still managed to complete Chapter 16 last night, which means I've done two in one month, and is especially impressive given that this chapter came in at a whopping 10490 words - the second largest chapter so far. This leaves me 3/4 through book 1, with only 5 chapters to go. It also means I have to up the word and page expectation.
My expected completion date is now the 7 February 2010...but my goal is to pull that into January, preferably before Jan 18th, which will be my 23rd birthday - which is when I originally planned to have book 1 finished by!
Anyway, on with the number crunching...
141281 / 178000 words. 79% done!
248 / 311 pages. 80% done!
16 / 21 chapters. 76% done!
CA Fin starts in the last week of September, so I'm gonna try and have 17 finished by then. However, the downside is that I'm on a full on client for the next six weeks, so hopefully I can survive that with the littlest amount of overtime possible.
