now we are two

because i don't know what the actual word is, and certain persons (a certain person who may well be more than one person, actually) has brought this concept to my attention, so i will call it exotropic and endotropic. an endotropic fellow moves of his own volition. i am an exotropic fellow; or, in other words, a parasite. i've begun using the music section for what i've taken for the endotropia on which my exotropism has been lately grazing: schopenhauer asserts, and our buddy friedrich follows in asserting music as a kind of self-supported and disembodied will. yes, music can do that, music can move you, but i find mythologies and architecture and paintings and novels more moving. the idea of them, at least, presents itself as a metaphysical form with many of the same properties as music. a reflection or an idea cannot (in my most humble of opinions, but i will not stoop to saying imho, mr. cicero) be recreated to the very same emotional effect as it originally took. it must be instantaneous, and it may then molt its reflective skin to reveal itself as the will to another project.

my other inspirations have given way to the fact that i am in love, i have a boyfriend now! you never expected my frigidity to give way to this! i must admit, it's all very strange and new. his name is michael anthony, mikey in other words, and he is a philosopher and a classicist (a man after my own heart.) we're having fun. i would say more but i'm at work and it's getting busy. stay tuned-
