Hyukjae was going home when he saw this one guy walking past him to the gym.

At first it was usually. He acted like everyone else who was in love. Hyukjae told only one friend, Ryeowook, about his love for another boy. The guy he liked didn’t like him back, so there couldn’t be done anything, RyeoWook thought. He couldn’t help Hyukjae.

Hyukjae just came often to his Ryeowook to talk about the guy. Ryeowook would listen and let him say how much he liked him and how awesome this guy was.

“Do you even know his name?” Ryeowook had asked him one evening and Hyukjae starred at him in shock.

“N-No…,” Hyukjae had to admit and Ryeowook laughed. “How can you be so crazy about this guy when you don’t even know his name?”

On other days, Hyukjae was there, watching this guy. After he had seen him the first time, Hyukjae came almost every day to the gym with the hope to see this gorgeous man.

He was lucky today, the guy was already there. It seemed that he came only a few minutes before Hyukjae because he only jogged some rounds. At the beginning Hyukjae just sat there watching him. He was so handsome. His face was so beautiful. His well-trained body where sweat already formed was so sexy. Yes, Hyukjae definitely loved this guy although he didn’t know his name yet. Maybe he could ask later.

Another guy came to Hyukjae saying that he had to train to otherwise he wasn’t allowed to stay there watching so Hyukjae stood up and change into his sport clothes. Hyukjae jogged as well while only watching this guy. He was so attracted to him and didn’t even know the reason.

Weeks passed like that until Hyukjae finally asked for the name of this sexy boy.

“I’m Donghae and you?”

Donghae? Donghae….what a perfect name to this perfect guy. And besides Donghae seemed to be really nice. “M-My name? Well…ehm-eh…m-my name...I-I’m…I’m…H-Hyukjae,” he stuttered nervously. Why did he stutter? Was he that nervous? He never stuttered. Never. So why now?

Hyukjae came still to the gym as often as possible. Now Donghae greeted him every time they met. But to Hyukjae’s disappointment Donghae was busy with training with another guy. It was like it made click inside of Hyukjae. He didn’t knew what had happened next but suddenly he was next to Donghae.

“Sorry, kid, but don’t come this close ever again to Donghae. Get lose. He’s mine. Understood?” Hyukjae had said to the other guy coldly. Then he had dragged the bewildered Donghae away from the other. He took him outside.

“Hey ehm…Hyukjae, stop. What’s wrong?” Donghae asked carefully.

“You aren’t allowed to spent your time with anyone else except of me. Get it?” Hyukjae said. His voice was a mix of anger and frustration but still kind of gentle.

“But I don’t belong to you. I’m not yours,” Donghae said and Hyukjae glared at him in even rage.

“Say what you want but you’re wrong. You are mine.”

“I’m sorry, Hyukjae, but no,” Donghae told him calmly.

Suddenly Hyukjae felt so angry he raised his hand to slap him. Fortunately Donghae was faster and blocked the other’s hand before he pressed him to the ground and run away.

Hyukjae looked after him in disbelief. Donghae had no chance. He couldn’t do anything. He belonged to him.

“He’s mine, Ryeowook,” Hyukjae had told him earlier. Ryeowook shook his head. “No, Hyukjae, he’s not your property. He’s a human too. You can’t own a human. At least not when the other don’t want it.”

“You’re wrong, Ryeowook. I’ll show you,” Hyukjae had declared. Ryeowook eyed his friend in worry. Since he had met Donghae he had changed. He wasn’t the kind guy from before, now he was crazy. Insane not, but at least crazy.

“Donghae, hey,” Hyukjae greeted his love one day with a smirk. Donghae had jumped up almost scared. He hadn’t met Hyukjae for over a week because now, Donghae came only in the late evening to the gym afraid to meet Hyukjae. It was 8pm. But now, there he was again.

“Hi Hyukjae. What’s up?” he asked after he breathed in and out slowly.

“Shouldn’t I ask you? Since when do you come here that late?”

Donghae shrugged nervously. “I’ve no time before. I’m quiet busy.”

“What are you doing? Or with who are you ‘busy’?” Hyukjae asked with narrowed eyes.

“With no one, Hyukjae.”

Later, when Donghae walked home, Hyukjae saw him met another guy. The same guy he had trained with before and this uncontrollable anger came back. This guy would get what he deserved. No one was allowed to come that close to his Donghae.

“Hyukjae!! It was you, right???” Donghae asked in rage.

“Yes, me. I told you, no one is allowed to approach you that much,” Hyukjae said calmly.

“But you can’t just beat him like that. He could die!!! Are you insane? He’s in a coma!!!” Donghae shouted at him and Hyukjae only shrugged. “He deserves it.”

“You are completely insane, Hyukjae!”

“Yeah…insane…maybe I am,” Hyukjae admitted with a smirk that made Donghae back away.

“Have you heard that a guy in our age is missing? He lived in our city,” Ryeowook told Hyukjae two days later.

“Yeah. It’s in the news, right?” Hyukjae looked at his friend with an emotionless expression.

“Yes. Do you know who it could be?” Ryeowook asked with an expectant look.

“No?”

“You do. It’s Donghae. Hyukjae, you have something to do with it,” Ryeowook said angrily.

“How would you know?” Hyukjae was surprised and eyed his friend to find an answer that Ryeowook wouldn’t tell.

“Have you kidnapped him?” Ryeowook asked instead.

“No?” Hyukjae shrugged bored.

“You have?!” Ryeowook almost screamed.

“What? How do you know when I answered with a ‘no’?!” Hyukjae shouted back.

“Because it is a ‘yes’. Where is he?” Ryeowook asked furiously.

Hyukjae replied quietly while looking directly in the others eyes. “He’s mine, Ryeowook. No one, NO ONE is allowed to see him again.”

“Are you completely insane Hyukjae?!” Ryeowook yelled shocked.

“Ryeowook, I love him and I don’t like to share.”

A day passed. Hyukjae knew Ryeowook wanted to tell the police but he also knew that Ryeowook won’t do it because he knew exactly that if he would do Donghae wouldn’t never ever be seen again.

“Hyukjae, please, if I promise you to love you back and never would meet another boy or girl, can I please go?” Donghae asked with pleading eyes.

“No. You won’t keep that promise,” Hyukjae answered coldly.

“I will. Hyukjae, I do love you. For you, I won’t ever meet somebody. But please let me go,” Donghae begged. He didn’t know where he was. He was bound on something cold, a surface of metal.

“You lie,” Hyukjae decided and sat in front of Donghae watching him struggle to get free. But Donghae knew he was lost. He would never be free again. Hyukjae wouldn’t let him get away. And it made him even more angry and frustrated. How could this guy to that to him? In fact, Donghae had known Hyukjae before he went to him to ask for his name. He had liked that guy. He had watched him secretly and he was really kind-hearted. Donghae had watched him over the whole time and he couldn’t understand what had happened. Why did Hyukjae change like that?

“Arr. Hyukjae, please.”

“No.”

“You are insane.”

“You already said that,” Hyukjae replied bored. But inside of him he knew it was true. He didn’t only adore this person in front of him anymore. He was obsessed.

Two weeks passed. Donghae got really thin. Hyukjae gave him food, but Donghae refused it mostly. It could be poisoned. Only now Donghae thought it wouldn’t matter anymore. Maybe it was really poisoned and he would finally die because Donghae didn’t want to live anymore. Live in this room for the rest of his life.

Hyukjae came to him and kissed him briefly. Donghae only closed his eyes to forget it as fast as possible. He couldn’t protect himself.

“Hyukjae…”

“Hm?” Hyukjae seemed to be always happy since Donghae was with him here.

“…Can you kill me?“ Donghae asked.

Hyukjae laughed lightly. He didn’t take Donghae serious. “Why?”

“I don’t want to live anymore,” Donghae replied clearly, sounding too serious. Hyukjae observed the weak body in front of him and slowly shook his head. “You can’t die. I need you.”

“If you won’t kill me now, I’ll die in a few days anyway,” Donghae said with a simply but still sounded seriously.

“What? Why?” Hyukjae came quickly over to Donghae to check if something was wrong.

“I feel too weak to live any longer.”

“You need to eat.”

“No, Hyukjae. I won’t eat.”

“You have to. I already said, I can’t die. You aren’t allowed to,” Hyukjae declared.

“You can’t forbid that. My body won’t listen to you.”

Hyukjae watched Donghae. Now he realized the other’s body was indeed pale and weak. He tried hard to figure out what to do. Donghae really couldn’t die. He needed him. He loved him. Love? Yes, he loved him. He adored him more than anything. He was obsessed, he knew it, but obsession due to love was good for him. He hadn’t done anything wrong.

“…So what should I do?” Hyukjae asked Donghae quietly after a while.

“Let me go.”

“If I let you go, I will waste the rest of my life in prison,” Hyukjae spoke slowly.

“I won’t tell the police,” Donghae said immediately.

“But you’ll be with this guy again. I hate that.”

“No, don’t worry. I promise I’ll stay with you.”

“Can I trust you?” Hyukjae eyed the other skeptically.

“Yes, trust me,” Donghae said sincerely.

“I warn you.” Hyukjae took out a silver blade and pointed it to Donghae. “Don’t mess with me.”

Donghae nodded but wasn’t afraid. Why should he anyways? Hyukjae wouldn’t kill him. He was obsessed. It was the first time that Donghae liked it. He could use it against Hyukjae.

Slowly Hyukjae opened the metal ties. Donghae fell down to the ground. His body was tired. It had hurt so much, but now, finally, he was freed. Not freed from Hyukjae, but from the ties.

“Thank you, Hyukjae. And I do love you, too. I will stay with you as I said. I’m yours forever I promise.”

Hyukjae didn’t smile. He only glared at Donghae with cold eyes.

Donghae waited patiently of Hyukjae’s reaction.

“You are always mine, right?”

Donghae nodded. “Always. I’m yours. Your property.”

“Then go. Keep your promise.”

“Won’t you come?” Donghae looked at Hyukjae in surprise. Although Hyukjae could be really frightening, Donghae wasn’t afraid of him. He kind of got used to him.

Hyukjae shook his head and stabbed himself. He fell to the ground. The blade stayed in his chest and blood flowed down, turning his whole body red.

Donghae looked shocked at Hyukjae. What he had turned into hadn’t been normal anymore. Hyukjae had been too insane. Some part of Donghae felt relieved about the sight. Another felt pity. And a third was almost sad.

But Donghae didn’t care at all. He was finally free. He searched for the door and dragged himself out of the room, out of the house to the fresh air outside he had missed so much. He went along the road. It was weird. The world was the same as if he never was kidnapped. It was a sunny day.

He looked back. He didn’t know the house he had been in for the past weeks. It was probably an old factory. Hyukjae was still there. At least his dead body.

Donghae hated him for what he had done to him. He hated him so much. Although he really did, he didn’t know the reason, he didn’t understand it himself, but he kept the promise.

He finally was Hyukjae’s.
