*16. November*
"Just to try," SiWon said with a smile and HeeChul nodded. He sighed silently. He didn't feel well, after hearing SiWon's idea, because it was risky. But HeeChul was curious and SiWon was able to convince him in a matter of seconds with just a look.
So they went along the hallway to their destination.
Neither of them touched the other one. They couldn't show there affection to others.
"It might be a very bad idea...," HeeChul murmured hesitantly once again, but SiWon shook his head. "Aren't you curious? I think it will work," he said and HeeChul nodded.
They knocked on the door and waited for the "Come in."
"You talk," HeeChul told SiWon quickly before they opened the door and entered the room.
"Oh, you two," KangIn said. He smiled slightly at the sight of the two students. HeeChul and SiWon returned the smile. KangIn was alone in his room.
"Can we talk to you, KangIn, please?" SiWon asked with a short glance at his boyfriend next to him.
KangIn shrugged and nodded, gesturing for them to sit with him on the bed.
SiWon hesitated and shared another look with HeeChul. Soon, he turned to KangIn. "We know you don't want to talk about this incident back then, right? But...would you tell us please, because...we don't want the same to happen once again," he explained quickly.
KangIn frowned in confusion. SiWon knew, he had to explain it properly, and so, he took a deep breath, and continued. "We trust you not to tell anyone because you understand us. We...are a couple. We love each other. But we know, it's not allowed and-" SiWon was cut off by KangIn, who stared at them with wide eyes. "Oh God, no! You can't do that! I have to talk to the principal. I have to tell him about it," KangIn said frantically and jumped up.
HeeChul and SiWon were shocked. They hadn't expected KangIn to react like this, because he had been in the same situation already.
HeeChul grabbed SiWon's arm in panic and fear, but SiWon was quick enough to get a hold on KangIn before he could run out of the room.
"Don't! Please, KangIn. Don't talk it to others!" SiWon begged.
KangIn turned to them in uncertainity and SiWon continued to plead. "Please don't tell it to the principal. We know, it's forbidden, but we love each other. You loved LeeTeuk, too, right? Can't you understand how we feel right now?" he asked. And finally, KangIn sighed and sank down next to them. "This is bad. This is so bad. You can't. It's bad. So bad," he muttered under his breath, barely hearable, but SiWon and HeeChul both managed to catch it nonetheless.
"C-Can you tell us now what had happened to you and your boyfriend? Please, KangIn," SiWon asked carefully. HeeChul still had a grip on his boyfriend. He was still scared.
"I-I-..." KangIn sighed in defeat, then looked at the door to check if it was really closed and no one was there to listen.
He looked away while starting to talk. "You want to know what has happened?" he asked them reluctantly and HeeChul and SiWon nodded, both were tensed, afraid of what they would get to hear now.
"After they found out, the principal talked to us two. He was kicked out," KangIn said. HeeChul and SiWon both knew that the other student was referring to LeeTeuk with he. "Of course, we didn't really break up, but I was still stuck in here, not allowed to leave while he was out there somewhere. I managed to sneak out one day, but wasn't able to find him. I asked some people, but he hadn't been seen. He just had disappeared. A few days later, I was told, he had been in a terrible car accident and didn't survive. I didn't want to believe it at first, but I found out that he indeed was dead. Though...honestly...well, don't say this to anyone else now, alright?" KangIn asked and SiWon and HeeChul both nodded with wide eyes. So far, they were shocked. "Though...I suppose, he was killed..."
HeeChul gasped and his jaw dropped. "Killed?" he repeated, more than shocked. He was speechless, and so was SiWon.
KangIn nodded sadly. "Please, don't do it. If they catch you...Just don't risk it. You are smart enough, so stop it now, before it's too late," he asked them, almost pleadingly.
HeeChul was still speechless and didn't respond at all, but SiWon nodded slowly. He gulped. "Y-Yeah..."
KangIn smiled in relief and nodded toward the door. "It's better if you two go now," he stated and SiWon nodded, thanked KangIn and quickly dragged HeeChul out with him.
After leaving the safety of KangIn's room, SiWon let go of HeeChul who finally had processed what had happened to KangIn, and now walked next to SiWon on his own.
He was trembling slightly and SiWon wanted to do something, but couldn't. Not now while they were still out in the hallway.
"Let's go to our room quickly," SiWon said and HeeChul nodded. They almost ran, trying to reach there as fast as possible.
HeeChul opened the door and SiWon, after entering, closed it immediately.
DongHae looked up from his homework. He inspected them in surprise at seeing HeeChul's pale face and the shock that was still clearly visible in their faces. "What's wrong?" he asked, but HeeChul only shook his head. "N-Nothing," he mumbled quietly and sat down on his bed. Finally, he managed to look up at his lover and saw him just as helplessly standing there in the middle of the room.
"What now?" SiWon mouthed toward HeeChul. The other one shrugged slowly. He didn't know. Should they listen to KangIn? It would be better after all, but they finally had realized they felt the same for each other. They loved each other. They had been together for a little bit more than five weeks only. They didn't want to lose that now. They didn't want to stop.
"Continue," HeeChul whispered back, barely audiable.
He felt DongHae's gaze on him and turned toward his friend.
DongHae raised his eyebrows, obviously curious about what his friends were talking.
HeeChul gave him a small smile. SiWon did the same to reassure DongHae that nothing was wrong and they didn't keep any secret from him.
DongHae didn't say anything and just returned to his homework.
SiWon eventually moved to sit next to HeeChul. He swallowed, before he spoke. "Aren't you afraid?"
HeeChul shrugged, trying to hide his fear that was making him unable to move any more or at least smile freely.
SiWon nodded slowly, and so, they agreed. "I hope though, that he won't tell the principal," he whispered in concern and HeeChul nodded. "Me, too. But, SiWon, I trust him. And I trust you."
