Title: Fated
Pairing: SiChul
Rating: R
Disclaimer: I don't own them.
Summary: It was a cold day and SiWon was crying thinking it can't be any worse. That's when he met someone just as sad. But comforting isn't that easy as well, especially not when one of them is a teacher while the other is still a young student.
AN: I really like this chapter... <3 Hope you do, too...

---[26]

More than eight months had passed. SiWon finished school with the hope to find HeeChul once again. He still thought of him. He missed him so much.

He wondered, how HeeChul had been doing, if he was alright and if he missed him as well.

It was a rainy day and SiWon went out to the park. He remembered the day he had met HeeChul. Exactly here, in that park. They both had felt so lost. HeeChul had been crying.

SiWon put his hands in his jeans pockets and looked at the ground to protect his face from all the rain.

Out of the corner of his eyes he watched all the people hurrying past him until someone caught his attention. It was a young man. He was sitting on a bench. He didn't seem to mind the rain or at least, he just didn't care at all.

SiWon was surprised by that and he looked further up to observe him better. He didn't even realize that he was approaching that person until he was only a few metres away.

Suddenly, SiWon's eyes widened. That person, sitting by himself on the bench, was HeeChul.

SiWon gasped and took a few steps to come closer.

"HeeChul!" he exclaimed in surprise and shock. Now, he was standing in front of him, not knowing what to do or how to react.

HeeChul stared at SiWon. He was stunned but it didn't take as long for him to find his smile again. "SiWon?" HeeChul stood up as well.

"What are you doing here? Are you waiting for someone? It's raining so much," SiWon eventually stated after hearing his name.

HeeChul chuckled. "I know it's raining," he said softly.

SiWon immediately was mesmerized. HeeChul had a scarf wrapped around his neck and wore a warm jacket. He looked so beautiful. His hair was a little bit shorter but he still looked like before.

"And yes, I'm waiting for someone," HeeChul answered his question with a smile.

SiWon's heart was beating so fast. It was even hard to breathe. "I'll wait with you then. Do you want my beanie?" he asked immediately.

HeeChul shook his head but smiled happily. He sat down again and SiWon sat down next to him.

"I heard you graduated from school, right?" HeeChul then asked to start a conversation. It almost felt like yesterday, talking to each other in that natural way, even though they were still distant.

SiWon nodded proudly. "Yes." He then added,"I just made it because of you. I wanted to see you again."

"Now you can see me again, right?" HeeChul said with a warm smile.

SiWon nodded. "I-I missed you," he finally confessed and looked down. He wasn't sure if HeeChul was still feeling the same.

HeeChul only continued to smile, not saying anything.

"Have you missed me, too, Hyung?" SiWon asked then because he just had to know.

"I missed you, too, SiWon," HeeChul answered.

"But not as much as I did, right?" SiWon asked sadly.

HeeChul only shrugged.

SiWon sighed. "Have you found a new job?" he asked then.

HeeChul nodded. "As a waiter in a café."

SiWon nodded as well. He still couldn't quite believe this. He finally had found HeeChul again. "Then who are you waiting for right now?" he asked. He wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer. Maybe HeeChul had found himself a new boyfriend. SiWon didn't even want to think about it because it broke his heart.

HeeChul smiled. "Someone special," he stated with a challenging smirk. He had already noticed SiWon's feelings.

"Oh," SiWon murmured. He had expected HeeChul to tell him the name or something like that.

"Don't look like that, SiWonnie," HeeChul stated grinning.

SiWon then forced a smile.

"Much better, so now I can tell you, right?" HeeChul said with a smile. SiWon nodded.

"I was actually waiting for you, SiWonnie," HeeChul confessed.

SiWon's eyes widened and his jaw dropped in shock. He was speechless.

"I knew you would finish your school and then you'd be free to be with whoever you wanted to be. So I came here everyday to wait with the hope to see you again," HeeChul explained. "Isn't that stupid?" he asked with a chuckle.

SiWon didn't answer. He was still more than surprised.

HeeChul grinned. "I think I really fell for you," he stated casually with a sigh and looked away at the people running through the rain. Everyone was rushing, but around these two, there was a calmness they both felt.

"Hyung...," SiWon murmured.

"One year. Remember?" HeeChul asked with a small smile playing on his lips. He was still looking in the distance.

SiWon didn't understand at first, but eventually he did and nodded, looking away at the people around them as well. "We met, exactly one year ago, right here, didn't we? One year...it's a long time," he murmured silently, more to himself. A smile crept on his face as well and he couldn't help but think of destiny. Maybe they were meant to be and that was why they found each other again.

"Want to come home with me for dinner and maybe stay for the night?" HeeChul asked him, still with his soft voice and SiWon agreed.

HeeChul smiled at him and offered his hand to him to pull him up from the bench.

Their hands remained intertwined on their way home to HeeChul's apartment.

AN: Isn't this a beautiful image? I somehow think it is, HeeChul and SiWon just sitting next to each other on a bench, calm, while the world is rushing past them...<3
