---[22 - MONDAY]
HeeChul woke up in the morning and got ready along with Chin-Sun to take her to school.
SungMin woke up and so, HeeChul announced quickly about him leaving.
SungMin nodded and soon, HeeChul kissed his daughter goodbye before she disappeared into the school building. HeeChul looked after her and then down at his stomach. He surely had to go to see his doctor today but he also needed to look for a job.
He decided to go see the doctor first now and went along the street.
On his way he met KiBum. "Hey, HeeChul. How are you?" KiBum asked with a smile and HeeChul nodded, relieved that his face seemed to look normal enough for his friend to not notice the slap immediately.
"I'm fine and you?" he asked and KiBum nodded. "You haven't answered my invitation. Will you come in two days?"
HeeChul was surprised and confused about what KiBum was talking about. "You know, my wedding. Haven't you read it? I sent it to you," he explained but HeeChul shook his head. "No. I'm not living at home right now. So on Wednesday already?"
"Yep," KiBum answered with a grin. He was quite excited. "Will you come? You can bring your daughter and your boyfriend along with you."
"Yes, I will come," HeeChul said and KiBum hugged him. "Thank you!" he exclaimed and HeeChul laughed. "Of course."
"So where are you going right now?" KiBum asked in curiosity.
"To see my doctor," HeeChul explained with a small smile and KiBum raised his eyebrow in concern. "What? Are you sick or anything?" he asked instantly but HeeChul shook his head. "No. Don't worry. Just to...check up on me," he explained and KiBum nodded. "Alright. Then see you on Wednesday? It's in the big Church, you know which I mean. Please come there at 11.50, okay?"
HeeChul agreed and said goodbye to KiBum before he continued his way.
---
"You are fine, Mister Kim. You already know that it's faster with male pregnancy, so from now on, please come to me at least every two or three weeks for a check-up. Your stomach is getting bigger and next week, it can even be that other people will notice as well. It's different with every person. Please be careful and don't stress yourself too much. You already can start to relax more and not do hard work anymore, alright?" the doctor asked after he had looked at HeeChul's body carefully and they had finished the check-up.
HeeChul nodded and bowed slightly. "Thank you," he said and the doctor smiled a warm smile. "Ah, still so young. But you will be a good father, right?" he asked and HeeChul nodded. "Yes. And I know I'm still quite young and it's even my second child. I didn't want it like this," HeeChul looked down in shame.
The doctor patted his shoulder lightly. "Don't worry. It will be okay. So then, see you in a few weeks. And if something is wrong, don't hesitate to come to me," he said and HeeChul nodded and finally left.
---
HeeChul was at SungMin's home. His daughter was happily playing with her stuffed animal.
HeeChul thought about what he should do now. He had to find a new home but he didn't want to ask SiWon because he couldn't help him with this. SiWon's parents wouldn't allow him to live with them and also, HeeChul had still pride and didn't want to depend on SiWon and if SiWon would know about him being homeless right now, he surely would hurry to find them a house together and pay for it. But HeeChul didn't want him to pay for everything.
HeeChul probably had to stop studying as well because he didn't have the money for the university anymore. He knew it had been stupid to leave his uncle because he had been the one who had paid for everything but HeeChul wouldn't go back anymore. He was sick of his uncle's attitude.
Then, there was the wedding. He had nothing to wear. At least, they had bought a dress for Chin-Sun when they had been on vacation. HeeChul had nothing to give. And he still remembered what LeeTeuk had told him about MinJee. He really didn't want KiBum to be unhappy and he actually was a little bit afraid that MinJee might even let KiBum down in front of everyone.
Then, HeeChul still had to find a job.
And although he was thinking of so many things, HeeChul was missing SiWon. He missed his warmth so much right now.
So SiWon was missing him, too, he thought when he remembered the conversation the day before. He chuckled and a warm, happy smile filled his heart.
HeeChul then thought about KyuHyun. What had happened between SungMin and him after he had left the kitchen? Hopefully they made up. HeeChul didn't like them fighting. He liked them as a couple.
And so, his thoughts went back to SiWon, his own boyfriend. He shook his head with a grin when he thought about how long they already were together. Maybe, he could fulfill Chin-Sun's request of having a happy family with him.
HeeChul smiled and looked down in thoughts but then he noticed his stomach. He still didn't like the fact that he was pregnant but because it was from SiWon, he wouldn't complain anymore.
"Appa, I miss SiWonnie," his daughter suddenly whined while running towards him with her Kitty. "I go and see him now," she announced and put on her jacket.
"What?" HeeChul asked in confusion because he hadn't heard everything. He had been too lost in his own thoughts.
But Chin-Sun didn't answer anymore. She just ran out of the house.
HeeChul looked after her. He needed a few seconds to realize that his daughter had just left the house without him.
"HeeChul, where is your daughter going?" SungMin suddenly asked with a frown while looking after the little girl.
"Shit," HeeChul muttered and jumped up to run after her,
HeeChul heard SungMin laugh lightly but didn't care when he left the house as well.
His daughter was nowhere to be seen.
"Chin-Sun?" HeeChul called out. He wasn't so much afraid of her being alone because she knew about the traffic and to be careful and all, but there were still other people that might not pay that much attention and a little girl wouldn't be able to do much when a car would be just about to crash into her. The image of the accident when Chin-Sun had been younger came back to his mind.
HeeChul shook his head to make these thoughts disappear and headed for SiWon's house. Hopefully, he would catch up to her quick enough.
HeeChul met LeeTeuk on his way.
"Hey," LeeTeuk greeted and HeeChul just nodded but didn't want to stop.
LeeTeuk was surprised about HeeChul not even greeting back proparly but then HeeChul stopped.
"Have you seen a little girl running along the street?" he asked quickly but LeeTeuk shook his head. "No, why are you asking?"
HeeChul didn't answer and only started to run again.
LeeTeuk looked after him in confusion but shrugged it off.
"Chin-Sun!" HeeChul called out again but got no answer. He ran around a corner just to bump into a young man.
"Fuck," HeeChul muttered.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!" the person stuttered in broken korean and HeeChul sighed and got up.
"I'm sorry. Really," the person kept on apologizing. HeeChul couldn't take it anymore. "It's okay. Stop saying sorry. By the way, have you seen a little girl?" HeeChul asked him.
The stranger thought about it and eventually nodded. "Yes. Oh, and my name is Henry," he introduced himself.
HeeChul sighed once again because actually, he really hadn't the time to talk right now but at least, Henry had probably seen Chin-Sun.
"I'm HeeChul. So where did the little girl go?" he asked and Henry pointed in the direction he came from. "There and then right," he said and HeeChul nodded thankfully. "Thanks," he quickly said and ran away.
He ran around the corner and once again, crashed into someone. "Ah, what the hell-?" HeeChul was cut off by the other person he crashed into. "HeeChul? Ah, good to see you."
"APPA!" It was definitely Chin-Sun's voice and when HeeChul looked up, he saw the little girl holding SiWon's hand with a big smile.
SiWon had been quick enough to catch HeeChul with his free hand before he hit the ground and helped him now to stand proparly.
HeeChul looked quite surprised to see them both and SiWon chuckled. "So cute," he stated and this time, he didn't mean Chin-Sun but Heechul.
HeeChul blinked.
"I missed you," SiWon murmured and hugged HeeChul with one hand while he was still holding Chin-Sun's with the other.
HeeChul slowly put his arms around SiWon's back. "Yeah."
"Why haven't you answered your phone? And why didn't you open the door? I wanted to visit you but you were never there," SiWon said with worry and looked at HeeChul expectantly for an excuse.
"I...lost my phone," HeeChul explained shortly.
"Oh, okay. Then where have you wanted to go right now?" SiWon asked and HeeChul only pointed to his daughter when they had backed away slightly to look at each other.
SiWon smiled happily. "She ran into me and now, she wanted to take me home to you," he explained and Chin-Sun added proudly. "Because you missed him, too, Appa."
HeeChul blushed slightly but didn't say anything.
SiWon was still grinning happily. "So then let's go to you," he stated and started to walk again.
"No, no! Wait," HeeChul quickly said. He couldn't go to his home. That wasn't his home anymore and he couldn't bring SiWon with him to SungMin's house as well. His parents surely wouldn't like that.
"Let's go to the playground," he suggested and Chin-Sun laughed happily. "YES!" she exclaimed and cuddled her cat. "Kitty wants to go there, too," she announced and so, SiWon agreed as well.
---
While Chin-Sun was playing happily with her stuffed animal on the slide, HeeChul and SiWon sat on a bench.
HeeChul watched his daughter to avoid eye contact with SiWon who was staring at his boyfriend.
"HeeChul, I missed you really much. How are you? Have you been well?" SiWon asked and slowly laid his hand on HeeChul's stomach.
HeeChul winced slightly at the touch. "I'm alright," he quickly answered.
SiWon didn't say anything for a long time, just caressing HeeChul's stomach while HeeChul tried his hardest to ignore it.
"Have you seen your doctor already?" SiWon eventually asked and HeeChul nodded. "Yes," was his short answer. He still didn't even look at SiWon.
"HeeChul...I'm scared. I'm scared that we will drift apart. That we won't trust each other anymore because we don't talk that much anymore. I don't want to lose you," SiWon eventually confessed in a whisper and HeeChul swallowed.
"I'm scared that you don't love me anymore," SiWon continued and HeeChul knew that SiWon knew that something was wrong. SiWon succeeded because HeeChul felt guilty.
"It's not like that," HeeChul only said silently.
SiWon turned his gaze from HeeChul's stomach to HeeChul's face.
"It hurts, HeeChul," he said in a whisper and HeeChul was surprised about how depressed SiWon seemed to be.
"I still love you," SiWon murmured, keeping his gaze on his boyfriend's face.
HeeChul saw tears in SiWon's eyes. He looked down to his hand caressing his stomach and took it in his own hands.
"We'll stay together because we love each other," HeeChul stated silently but with a firm voice.
"Please tell me what's wrong. I can't bear looking at you, knowing you aren't fine. I see your swollen cheek and the scratches on your hand. There is a little wound on your head as well. Nothing that could be seen easily but I noticed it when you ran into me. Your hair that usually covers it, revealed it to me. HeeChul please talk to me. I said I wanted to take care of you," SiWon said desperately but HeeChul kept quiet.
"Was it your uncle? Did you told him about you being pregnant?" SiWon asked and slowly, HeeChul nodded.
"I...," he sighed. He had to tell SiWon. "The reason why no one opened the door was that I don't live there anymore."
"You don't? Then where do you live now?" SiWon asked surprised.
"With SungMin," HeeChul answered and SiWon blinked in wonder. "With him?" he asked. He tried to hide his jealousy but HeeChul noticed it nonetheless.
"He asked me to. I didn't want to bother you. I know your parents still don't like me that much. They only accept me because they think you are happy. But they wouldn't allow me to stay there, so I didn't even ask. I didn't want to worry you," HeeChul explained.
"Why do you still not trust me?" SiWon asked sadly.
"I do," HeeChul quickly replied.
"Why are you still lying?" SiWon then asked.
"I'm not lying!" HeeChul exclaimed and stared at SiWon who said. "Not right now but before."
"I also didn't lie to you before," HeeChul said with a pout.
"You said you were alright," SiWon stated and HeeChul's eyes widened. He sighed in defeat.
"I'm sorry," he murmured.
"So why don't you trust me and tell me the truth? Why do you have to lie first?" SiWon asked with sadness in his voice.
"I'm sorry," HeeChul repeated and a tear fell down his cheek.
"Appa," Chin-Sun called and chose that moment to run towards them. "Appa? Why are you crying?" she asked shocked and looked at SiWon for an explanation but he looked like he wanted to cry as well.
Chin-Sun looked helplessly at both of them.
HeeChul hid his face in his hands. "Chin-Sun, go away playing," he told his daughter who then turned around and left without a word.
HeeChul looked up after her. SiWon'S hand reached out for HeeChul's face and pulled it towards him. HeeChul just let him. He felt soft lips on his own and was surprised to feel SiWon's arms around him, embracing him while he kissed him deeply.
"SiWonnie," HeeChul murmured but SiWon kept on kissing him, not that HeeChul would complain.
"You obviously are upset about some things, so please tell me everything," SiWon pleaded. "Don't stress yourself too much," he whispered and his hand went back to HeeChul's stomach, this time pulling HeeChul's shirt up a little to look at his boyfriend's white skin.
HeeChul only nodded. "I ran away from home and that," HeeChul pointed to his swollen cheek. "My uncle did this. I don't know. I wanted to tell him but we started to fight first and it ended up like this. It's not that bad, don't worry. SungMin offered me to stay with him for a while until I find somewhere to live. I need to find a job, too. And...I already told the university. I stop my study. I've no money and no time for that anymore. By the way, SiWon, can I ask you a favor?" HeeChul looked at SiWon who nodded while pulling HeeChul up in his lap.
"Do you have a suit to give to me for Wednesday? You know, KiBum is getting married. He has invited me, and you and Chin-Sun can come as well," HeeChul explained and SiWon frowned. "He's getting married? To MinJee?"
HeeChul nodded reluctantly.
"Is he really sure with her?" SiWon asked in concern but HeeChul could only shrug.
"We go there together?" he asked but it was more like a statement.
"Yeah," HeeChul answered and hugged SiWon again. "I'm so sorry. Thank you. SiWonnie, I love you," he whispered the last sentence and SiWon hugged him tightly. "If you want to, you can come and live with me for at least a few days. You know, Chin-Sun can sleep in the room she always slept in and you can use my bed. I can sleep on the couch," SiWon suggested with a warm smile and because HeeChul was too afraid to hurt SiWon once again, he nodded.
"Then let's get your things and tomorrow we'll go to the city to look for something to wear for you, okay?" SiWon asked and HeeChul agreed.
---
It was already late in the evening. Chin-Sun was sleeping in the bed she already slept in before.
SiWon's mother was okay with HeeChul being there, although it was just because of his cute daughter and SiWon's father was away for work for a few more days anyway.
"Good night, Chullie," SiWon said and left his room to sleep on the couch.
HeeChul murmured a silent "Good night," as well and lay down to sleep.
But he couldn't. No matter how he lay down or what he did, he couldn't fall asleep.
Eventually, he stood up. It was dark but still bright enough to see due the moon shining through the window.
HeeChul tip-toed into the living room. SiWon was lying on his back with his eyes still open and a smile on his face.
"HeeChul? Is something wrong?" SiWon asked surprised when he noticed HeeChul coming closer.
"I'm lonely. Come with me," HeeChul asked with pleading eyes.
SiWon raised his eyebrows for a moment but stood up to follow his boyfriend into his own room.
HeeChul smiled and laid down, pulling SiWon with him. He pressed his lips on the other one's while putting his arms around SiWon's torso.
SiWon smiled and responded to the kiss with more passion.
"At least take the shirt off, SiWonnie," HeeChul murmured against the other's lips. He didn't want to do anything near making out in the house of SiWon's parents but he suddenly missed SiWon's strong body.
SiWon smiled. He trusted HeeChul, so he sat up and pulled HeeChul's shirt over his head, throwing it to his bag on the ground.
"Hey, not mine! I wanted your shirt off!" HeeChul complained immediately with a pout. SiWon chuckled and stripped himself off his shirt, making HeeChul smile in satisfaction.
HeeChul observed the muscular body with a smirk and pulled him down on top of him.
"Carefully!" SiWon quickly stated and changed his position so, that he wasn't directly lying on HeeChul's stomach.
HeeChul rolled his eyes. "Damn, what is your problem? Finally, I'm like this and you complain!" he whined but SiWon shut him up with a deep kiss.
"I love you, Chullie," he whispered and HeeChul smiled and kissed SiWon again.
"Let's sleep," SiWon eventually stated after some minutes of kissing. HeeChul nodded with a tired smile and SiWon switched their position, so that HeeChul was on top of him and SiWon could hold him tightly.
They closed their eyes and soon, they fell asleep.
