Taking chances doesn't pay off
So last nite something pretty unexpected happened.
Now I have this friend, dated her before, things didn't work out just right.
BUT
We have been un-officially dating, for a little while now, around the two month range or so, And most everything is awesome. Were communicating and hittin it off emotionally, And gettin those "I miss you" feelings when you don't see them for a few hours... You know...
ANYWAYS
Back to the unexpected.
I had gotton out of work and went to my grandma's last nite when she asks me to go get her some cigarettes. So of course I say "yes". But on my way I practically pull right up to this girl, and she has an EX of hers in the car. Not the most comforting of feelings, but there friends, and friends chill.
NOW
She did tell me she was gonna go to her friends house earlier so I'm thinking that she probably picked him up to go hang out over her other friends house, so I didn't make a deal of it...
UNTIL...
She calls me an hour later and tells me that she hadn't done ANYTHING all day except go to her friends house (being spacific enough to name the friends that were there, BUT leaving out his name.)
STILL
I didn't get to much of an attitude, and fallowed up with the question, "You didn't even talk to anyone?"
AND
What do I hear out of her mouth...
"Just _______ and ______",
BUT
Still no mention of him...
Now I confront her w/ what I've seen and she confess', and tells me that she "doesn't want to lie to me";
What am I suppose to take that as?
ANYWAYS
She tells me that they didn't do anything.
What would you think? Seriously? Not only what would you think, but what would you do w/ the relationship. It's still in the developmental stage, but she's done all this before.
Do I cut the strings? Knowing that the last time I heard this she had brought home someone she met at the club for a one nighter?
Or do I completely forget about the past and hope that one day things will change, and the lies will stop?
