(no subject)
"I'll update once a week." "I will finally get this right." "I really should update more."
I've been saying that a lot in a bunch off entries and it just hasn't been cutting it. At least Diplocon II is over which means that I get a lot more time to worry about everything else. I've been told I haven't updated my site either so I'll be doing that in case anyone wants to check it out.
What has happened? Well, in the last 4 months a lot has happened which means I can cut through the mainly boring stuff and give the bigger higlights.
My parents came to visit me during family weekend and that was really nice. We ended up hanging out through most of the weekend going to Rocky Horror (yes they came with me to Rocky Horror), the Lancaster Brewery (great place, especially if you like beer), and they came to dinner at the D-Hall with my friends from here. It was altogether fun and people seemed to enjoy meeting my family as well. Only think left is for them to meet my sister. That'll be interesting.
We also had a very successful Diplocon II. We made around $1000. Yes, $1000. Not sure how but we did it. We're just good like that. Congrats and thanks to everyone who helped. We'll definetely be doing very well next year.
Otherwise I've been hanging out with Jess and other people a lot. Finally joined my 3rd RPG campaign this semester. This means 3 systems in a row (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). It's fun and I still have time for almost everything else.
Hurray for Thanksgiving Break. This'll be very fun. I get to go to Jess's, and apparently play KH2 (finally). Most of what happens has been spoiled to me since I watched Louis beat the game while at his house over break and overheard a conversation about something else that happens in the game. Oh well. I guess it's karma making up for not spoiling my first date with Jess (after 10 months). I have this knack for getting all the movies and books that I really want to read spoiled by someone. It's rather annoying but hey.
On another note I went to PLAY! and Sesame Place. Those were really fun and enjoyable although with obvious complaints. What was really fun was the second day I went there because I got many behind the scene looks at what was happening and got to go on water slides. This didn't happen the first day since Sammo and Isan were also with me (not that I'm complaining but that meant no water rides).
I guess that's about it for now. Will try to keep beter updates but yeah. See you all at some time.
