Guess it's about time I update this journal so here we go.
I managed to get to Brasilia after quite an adventure. It seems that everytime I come back home I get into some sort of accident. Well, the first thing that happened was that I changed seats on the train after they had already checked me but I forgot the seat card that said that they had checked me. So I got a little scolding. Then one of the wheels to my 110+ lbs bag broke at Penn Station, NY, and that made pulling it a lot harder. Then I had to look for a way to get to the airport. I asked the information desk where I could get a mode of transportation to get to the airport. They told me to go outside and across the stree to 34th street station. I went there and down a flight of stairs and asked the person there where I coudl get a train. They told me that one left from Penn Station that was across the street (back up some stairs) or down another flight or stairs and down a long hallway. So I finally got onto the train and arrived at the airport only to find that there was no one at the check-in counter. After an hour one person arrived ad we started getting checked. My bag was too heavy so my choices were buy a new bag or pay the $170 fine. Bought a new bag and rearranged things so I finally was ready to take off. Only one problem. The plane wasn't there yet and finally arrived 2 and a half hours later. Otherwise the trip went quite smoothly.
Since I've been here in Brasil (I'll be using the portuguese spelling of that), I've been to two parties that weren't so good, a couple of LAN outings to play Battle Field Vietnam, hung out with some friends and watched a lot of Detective Conan. I think I might be almost done with the episodes (50 total). I've started reading a book called "Cut" that is really interesting. Later on in the summer I also plan to teach myself to draw, write some more of my old stories that were left hanging and narrow down a major. Hopefully I'll get most of it done.
On another note, it seems like I have left a bunch of my old friends scarred and that I have quite the reputation around my school. I'll have to check that out as soon as school starts up again. Otherwise I hope that things will become better between me and my old friends. I guess I am a bit naive in thinking that people will never change and that if they were your friends once they will always stay the same way that you last saw them. It seems like I was very wrong in thinking something like this. Either way here is not the best way to talk about this but I just thought I'd say what's been going on lately since I haven't said much in a while.
As for college I had been working for a while and going to the gym a lot. I felt much more athletic and in shape. Hopefully I'll keep doing that here starting tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I also hung out with Kim and occasionally Steve and Patt during my time there. Watched a lot of Anime and some movies that I can't recall to name now.
Not many people seems to be online anymore but I guess posting something here will probably be the easiest way for someone to see somthing and respond. I miss being in college but at the same time I miss being here. If only there was a way to get everyone together in one place so that no one would miss anyone else and that no one would have to spend much to see the other person. But a change of scene is also a nice thing once in a while. Being able to go somewhere completely diferent from where you were before is fun and refreshing but it's always a painful paradox. Anyway, I guess that's enough for an update for now.
