Finally

Well I haven't been good in keeping this updated but here goes. I am as of now in Spanish class but somehow it seems to be ok for me to have my laptop out. Go figure. Well I guess I should divide this into a couple of sections. If only some interest you them only read those. Well you know how to skim so I'll just get started.

The Anime Con

This was my first Anime Con (Katsucon) and it was quite fun for the most part. Getting there was also quite interesting. I'll try to keep this as brief as I can. The driver I was with really needed to go to the bathroom and only after 3 and a half hours of holding it in was he able to finally go. At the con we went to the dealer's room (place to buy almost anything you'd ever want in terms of anime and mangas and oriental stuff (like swords). I bought one DVD, Goldenboy, which I've been meaning to watch over again many times but could never download it. I will explain the story of Goldenboy later. We quickly split up and then we come together from time to time. There were a bunch of people there dresses as many random characters including Sephiroth, Cloud, Sailor Moon, Auron, Megaman, Lulu, Trugun, Vash Stampede, robots, Inuyasha, Naruto and a bunch of other characters that I probably won't be able to identify. They also had a game room and movie rooms. I was able to see the guy that made the voice of Inuyasha (Richard Cox) who signed my soap box and my Katsucon magazine. He is sooo hilarious. I also say the author of Order of the Stick, an online comic, Rick Sobel and Ricki Simons who is the voice of Gir (Invader Zim). After a while people began to stink a bit and others began to fall asleep. Such is life at a con.

Movies

The movies I have watched throughout all this time were Ray, Fruit Basket (Anime), Matrix Trilogy again, Shrek, Goldenboy (Anime), Kaleido Star (Anime) and that's all I remember. Ray was amazing and I don't know how many of you guys watched it but I do recommend it. Matrix and Shrek have been watched and rewatched so many times that I don't think I need to say anything about them. Fruit Basket is so fun. It's about this group of guys that live in a house and if they are hugged by members of the opposite sex (there are some girls as well but they don't live there) they turn into the animal spirits that possessed them (mostly from the Chinese zodiac). I didn't watch all of it but some of the ones I saw were the Ox, the Boar, the Rat, a Cat, a Tiger, a Dog, and a Sea Horse (possibly dragon). Goldenboy is a really fun. It's about a 25 year old kid who quit college even though he had the credits to graduate because he wanted to experience the world and learn some more stuff. It's really funny and if you can watch it you should. Kaleido Star is about this girl who wants to join Kaleido Star, a circus, but she keeps getting herself into all these dares about what she can or can't do and that's pretty much the story line. I haven't watched too many but yeah. Not much going on in the movie area.

College Life

Quite a lot has been going on in that area but not much of it is probably interesting. I got a 77 on my first Organic Chem test this semester, the best grade I've ever gotten on a test in Organic Chem so far this year. I also got a 92 in Spanish and an A- in a composition that I had to write for it. Yay. Orgo test is coming up and I'm goin got be studying some more so that might mean less time online (although I haven't been seeing anyone online anyway). On another note I have been busy working 17 hour weeks and doing homework.

I have to work now so I'll update this more later.
