I keep meaning to post; I even have semi-interesting things to post about. I just lack the time. This week has been bizarre, schedule-wise. I missed on Monday for the Pomona visit, then spent Tuesday desparately trying to catch up, then had no school Wednesday, then didn't get home until eight at night on Thursday, then left early Friday because it was an assembly. Anyway, on to the things of note:

1) There was a group test in AP Environmental Science on Tuesday. My table is, if I do say so myself, the smartest in the entire class. However, two of us had been on college visits when the textbooks were handed out, so only one of us had done the reading. This did not keep me from repeatedly debating answers. The thing is, I kept being right, so when we got to the last question, my opinion won. And it was wrong, and I got all woeful. One of my table partners said, "it just means you're not God" while the other sulked at me for losing him a point. The former table partner saw fit to tell Mr. Brown how nutty I am.
He turned to me and said, very gravely, "you're going to Hell."

2) That same morning, my AP Literature teacher had said I was destroying civilization because by missing Monday I had failed to complete the Calculus assignment due Thursday, which is inefficiency, of which Marlow does not approve. There seems to be a pattern here...

3) Newport has a tradition called Senior Thug Day, wherein...the seniors dress as "thugs." Obviously this has the potential to offend a lot of people, and this year there was heated debate over it. Various responses arose--people more determined than ever to dress up, people calling it Eminem Day or MTV day, people wearing suits, and people boycotting the whole thing. I was the last. I'm sure we're all shocked.

4) My birthday is tomorrow. Seven people have already wished me happy birthday. Five of them will see me tomorrow, but said they wanted to be the first/second/third to wish me. I'm starting to wonder if there's an unspoken contest going on.

5) Next weekend will be very packed. First I have a four-hour Reality Check, then I have to cook for my birthday sleepover, then I have the birthday sleepover, then I have my first college interview. I think I'll just ask my mom to cook...
Also, PEOPLE HAVE GOT TO USE THE FACEBOOK RSPV. My friends who don't go to my school used it right away, but most of the others either said they were coming and didn't use the RPSV or said maybe and have yet to confirm. How do I cook for people if I don't know how many people there will be?
