OH AND NOT TO MENTION. The Phillies are winning 1-0 because of Cameron fucking Maybin's awful error in CF. It was seriously pathetic. He completely misjudged a fly ball and it went off his glove and an out turned into a run and a triple. So JJ is on the hook for a 1-0 loss. Fucking horrible and undeserved and AUUUGGGHHHHHH.

Any other time, I’d congratulate Halladay for throwing a perfect game. Even against the Marlins. But I am so, so angry right now. HE DID NOT FUCKING DESERVE IT. Go look through GameDay and see how many balls out of the strike zone were called strikes. A LOT. At least three of those called strike 3’s should have been ball 4. Especially in two at-bats to Coghlan.
I’m all for baseball history. But when the fucking umpire fixes it like that? No. I’m sorry. Josh Johnson did not get that enormous strike zone, and neither did the Marlins bullpen. But Halladay, every goddamn pitch he threw was a strike. EXCEPT THAT IT WASN’T.
I fucking HATE when the umpires affect the outcome of the game. It is not fucking FAIR to call balls that almost HIT some of the Marlins players “strikes”. It’s just not.
Not to mention that JJ should not have LOST the game, anyway. The Phillies’ only run came because of a terrible, terrible error in CF by Maybin. We should be in extras right now.
